The latter, a world where your immediate area has a scare number of blocks, would create an economy where it costs resources to explore to other sky islands.

I've got all the files with, I think the original names. I could possibly be of assistance should you still need it Jake. edit: Nevermind, I have the iTunes versions of them, so it's labelled differently than the Direct MP3 download in the archives. I still have every file, labelled to a certain number of characters (iTunes seems to like to cut it off in the file names).

The facial animations? I forget where I read it (GiantBomb review?), but they're right that the life-like facial animations really, really contrasts with the kind of stiff body animation. For me, it's like looking into next gen and last gen at the same time.

An update on mine: Turns out the card was faulty, so I returned it. Turns out it was for the best since I accidentally ordered the GTX 460 SE (aka Slow Edition). Basically it offers more GRAM at a lower price but at the loss of a lot of other functionality. Amazon return went through today, so I ordered a new Superclocked 460 with a lifetime warranty. If you're looking for a cheap card, the 460s are dropping in price rapidly (on the US Amazon store at least). The SE I ordered last week dropped $15 since I ordered it, and they all have rebates on them. I went ahead and decided the lifetime warranty with EVGA was worth another $30-40.

There's no chance there will be no season. I will eat mine and everyone else's hat if there's no football this year.

Sadly my plan of holding out for a few years at a time doesn't even work. It's still pretty much the same game. That said, it's not bad.

Two free PS3 games might actually be an acceptable apology. Except for the loyal PS3 owners who already have LBP, Infamous, and Wipeout - which is pretty likely.

Video lacked sincerity to me, but that might have been lost in translation. Frankly the free month of Plus is kind of a really lame attempt at recompense. If I wanted Plus, I would have signed up for it. Give me $10 to use on PSN or something - enough for some DLC or a PSN classic.

Just picked up a 460 GTX SE after my 8800 GTX decided to vomit rainbow colors all over my screen. Problem is, games are running like shit - all games. I've got the latest driver, and I've reinstalled it several times, but it hasn't fixed anything. All I've done is put it in, install the latest drivers and install some Direct X stuff off the disc that came with it. Any help is appreciated.

I got a Mafia 2 code with my new video card. Anyone who will actually play it want it?

They were already kind of speedy to me, so it's not a big deal losing minecart boosters.

Does the writing, especially dialogue, get any better after the tutorial? I've tried it on 3 different languages (English, Polish, and Russian) and it's equally awful on all of them. It's as if the voice actors recorded their lines in different planes of existence. Still, the promise of future awesomeness would have compelled me to keep playing had my graphics card not died.

It would be kind of boring for the person not playing Shepherd though. They'd be playing through the game, only they'd never have their own story. My ideal Mass Effect is one without any combat. I'm not holding out hope.

I am crap-my-pants excited. But, I really wish it wasn't this soon after Brotherhood. If it was like 18 months between or something, I'd enjoy them better. Since the end of II, there hasn't been enough time to start missing the series before the next one comes out. They just need a little bit more spacing, and I'd rather it be closer to two years than one.

Thinking about starting this up. Are there any acclaimed mods that you should use? I vaguely remember hearing about something akin to the Stalker complete mods for the Witcher.

Shacknews primarily, RPS, and GiantBomb (I really like the addition of Klepek). How is Read More any different than RPS? I can't stand Kotaku because of the writing and amount of Japanese Porn games I have to sift through. And fuck the entire Gawker network.
