This is true. I just wonder if the game is getting somewhat biased reviews based on the sole fact that Tim Schafer created this game. I wonder if Brutal Legend would receive the same criticisms if Tim Schafer wasn't the developer?

While this game looks great, all you are essentially doing is moving the cursor and pressing "A" until something happens which advances your character to the next area. Oh, and they throw in a "QTE" to change it up a little.

Kinda dissapointed to learn that Borderlands sounds pretty much like a pile of turds. Although I still don't know how to take the Brutal Legend talk. The game is being reviewed as the greatest thing ever while others are saying that its just "ok". Although I will say it sounded like the guys were sporting "rage boners" for Tim Schafer. I enjoyed the BL demo but I'm going to wait for Gamefly to send it to me. I think I'll spend my cash on Uncharted 2.

I've been listening to the podcast for quite some time now but just recently decided to jump into the forums. I've been gaming for as long as I can remember and I don't see an end in sight. I have a 1 year old son who I can't wait to turn old enough to challenge his old man at a few video games. I've tried with my 4 year old daughter but like her mother, she could really care less about playing video games. They didn't even fall for the gimmick we all know as the "Wii".
