I have almost that exact same Commodore (minus the VIC sticker) sitting in my parent's loft for posterity. It also came with a separate tape deck. My first game was a horse racing programme written by the guy who I bought the computer game from. Does anyone remember the dizzy series of games? The adventurous egg... Andy

Maybe it's because I have children and can visualise it well but I really love that you made a cape. Two of my favourites also. Although the version of Monkey Island on my PC was the original. As far as the SNES goes, the top game for me (due to my wasted youth in arcades) was Streetfighter II. Man I LOVED that game. Incidentally, if anyone has ever played SFII and now has SFIV on PC, I would be interested to know how they compare enjoyment wise. Andy

I finished this a couple of days ago. I can't help feeling a bit..well..underwhelmed? I'm not sure what I was expecting exactly, given that it's a sequel, and I am glad I bought it I think because I would have always wanted to play it but I am left with a sort of 'is that it?' feeling. I found it a bit boring or am I just so war gameified up that I am no longer touched by (tedious?) well scripted character diaries? I also thought that graphically it looked a bit tired but that could just be me. Am I alone in my thoughts? Andy

I tried to change the title to avoid any ill feeling for you, but it doesn't seem to have worked. Can anyone change it to Gaming beginning win!....?

^^ What game is that? That looks like it's from a Commodore, or a NES maybe? A better system than my first computer...a Spectrum 128k + 2. Andy Edit: Sorry, your text didn't come up the first time. Knew it had to be better than a Speccy.

A new multiplayer game (for the times when left for lobby gets too much)

Our small number and great skills surely seperates us from the cannon fodder. We are an elite fighting force...like the Goonies, but older. Andy PS. I was commenting on the 'army' bit. I like Battlethumbs: Idle company:tup: -

It's settled then.....Battlefield Bad Company it is....? Andy -
I found Scroedinger's cat and tried to take a screen shot for you, but for some reason (probably due to my complete ineptitude), when I paste the screenshot, it comes out either all black or I get the menu screen. Sorry:( I too like the spear gun:yep:. Overall, it's a bit samey don't you think? Andy PS. I have a save game right by the cat, so if you can tell me what I am doing wrong, I can rectify my rubbishness for you

^^ Unfortunately all too familiar. Can anyone more computer literate than me, tell me why this happens? Is it because of unruly third party servers? Lag issues? celestial alignment? WHAT? Andy

Valentines day AND Wife's birthday...skating on very thin ice gaming on that day then:mock: As it turned out, some stoned and basically crazy Dutchmen turned up and talked about scarred willies again...normal thumbs game really:clap: Andy

I'm definitely up for (and in fact need) some friendly squad member action to help me work out exactly what the fuck all the shooting and dying is about. I'm online as Armchair General Andy (back from holiday, miss me?) -

I meant torticollis (although for most docs, spasmodic and 'normal' torticollis are synonymous). You know if it's not corrected you can end up with facial assymmetry...do you look like a plaice yet? Andy
