Well I'm not sure if it was the same for everyone, but last night it felt less like we were gaming because we like it, more because we felt we should? I think we need a couple of new ideas. Firstly, perhaps we should pick a balanced team in an attempt to avoid a total, spirit crushing defeat of one team which makes you feel you never want to play L4D2 again. I don't think it would be unfair to do this, we are a varied group and therefore have peeps who play a lot more than others are able. It would seem logical to choose a team based on this. Secondly, James, Pirate, Skratche, illeria and I were all in Skype together last night (because we left Skype running from playing BC2; on opposing teams in L4D2). We felt that this made the game more lighthearted and fun. We all know the game well enough I think (correct me if I am wrong) to have a rough idea of where to organise an attack etc to do it without explicitly communicating that to the team. By being in 'alltalk' we were able to rib each other for laughs such that it felt, to me at least, it didn't really matter what the score at the end was. Summary: 1. We pick teams to a large extent in an effort to have a more balanced game. 2. We all join Skype and chat together, tell jokes and inject some fun back into L4D2 which I feel it needs (together with a new map). Your thoughts Gentlemen please.

I am definitely interested in playing more of this (I found dominating Patters yesterday strangely enjoyable). I should say straight away though that if this league of exthumbary gentlemen is going to require a significant committment I can't get involved in that right now/possibly ever. To fellow noobs, I now have the grand total of about 30 minutes game play under my belt and I wasn't last all the time yesterday- it's quite easy to get the hang of gameplay, maps.....gonna need a bit longer to master those.

You are correct of course but I should say that it's primarily used in the UK (at least from a GP perspective) to help treat depression and anxiety. But if you want to be a PEDANT ;p On a side note... You're not free to sit some piddly little exams in June are you? xD

I have one of those for the gaming needs. Reasonable enough. I have a pair of Sennheisers for music and single player gaming. They are wireless and closed back (is that what it's called, I forget) plus very comfortable. I second the Sennheiser gear.
