Overclockers.co.uk is the best for price and are extremely good at getting the stuff out to you quickly. Also, the 4870 is hard to come by these days, you could easily substitute it for a 5830 or similar, budget permitting. EDIT EDIT: I notice that VAT is 15% on this order, I think it's back up to 17.5% now, so that would add a bit extra.

<Homer Simpson voice> Why you little Contrary to popular belief, I am actually pretty clued up when it comes to hardware and balancing a system. I also have a pretty good handle on prices. Just because I know next to fuck all about software and download speeds does not negate my skills as a system builder. I taught myself overclocking too SO THERE Company of Heroes is probably one of the best PC games ever imho, if you like RTS's. Also Fallout 3 if it hasn't already been suggested + Left for Dead + infinity, etc, in addition to etc etc, the list goes on and on

Hey Groucho, is $400 dollars your maximum? Give me your budget figure and I will put together the best PC for you from new within your range. It's much better to do it yourself, you get a lot more for your money usually. I could build it for you and then post it to you if you are in the UK. I have heaps of bits and bobs lying around that I could chuck in if it needs it. Are you in the UK? I have a spare 19" flat screen (but CRT> Bigbacked) monitor that you can have for nothing if you need it too. For £500 I put a great PC together for Patters. Let me know.

I'm reading the border trilogy (slowly); written by Cormac McCarthy. I can confirm the dialogue style is the same as The Road i.e tough.

I'm not even going to say ANYTHING.

I'm already married to an incredibly ditzy redhead, I couldn't manage another one -

Contrary to the popular story, nails were hard to come by in Jesusonian times so in reality, the nails used to peg him to the cross were in fact out of date Wispa's, hence the chocolate connection. -
Man if that was real, I would have one tomorrow. There is an amazing business opportunity right there for some budding entrepreneur. I want it.

Am I the only one who thought this game was largely crap? I found it a massive let down. I have not read the whole thread so apologies if I am going over old ground.

I know that 32 is divisible by 16. EAT THAT PATTERS.

Although it's funny to pick on thick people whatever country you are from (did I just say that ) if somebody took a camera around Britain they would get answers just as moronic, possibly even more so (I vaguely remember that somebody did?) and anyway, Australia is just full of ex-convicts, so they can't say nuffin'

I'm generally not as insightful and creative as the dudes who frequent the Thumbs and I can leave my brain at the cinema door and just sit back and enjoy most impossible action films...BUT even I spent alot of the film wondering who the fuck many of the characters were and why they would get involved with so little dialogue of explanation. There was literally no character development, I cared (in the flimsy film sense) not a jot about any of the characters, it felt rushed and dumbed down. Mads Mikkelsen was the best in it by a long way and he got killed off too soon. It's worth a watch just to see Mads Mikkelsen but overall; an opportunity to bring exciting Greek mythology to life was missed, supplanted by a dogshit film fit for dullards. 2/10 for Mads Mikkelsen.

So my router/computer does NOT like Skype + L4D2 with heaps of peeps in it it seems? Last night it hard crashed my PC (it actually BSOD'd so it could have been my overclock but I don't think so) and reset my router (which takes an age to retest itself or whatever it does). Sorry to crap out on everyone all of a sudden. Skype seems to work perfectly for BC2, lord only knows what was going on last night.
