Cool, there always more people willing to host, though after this I will be taking a break, too stressful, lol. But I have a ton of credits left over to host more games in the future, so even if I'm on break and someone needs a host I don't mind.

Bloodlines wasn't a sequel to Masquerade; they are two completely different games that have nothing to do with each other. With that said I enjoyed Masquerade as a game more. The mp features seemed like a really cool idea, but I never, ever saw it ever pan out well. Basically shotgun vs sword = shotgun wins. Also mideval parts were way cooler.

I liked Joflars settings; maybe we should go with those? I suppose I can be on standby as well since I'm in the other game; though really I'm totally addicted and may soon be unemployed, so I'll be doing like 15 games at once sooner or later. Also, I'm sure I'm dead in puffin galaxy, my strategy seems like it would have worked in a faster game.

It is? Anyway, sorry everyone I picked the wrong game after talking with Joflar. For the future Joflar picked a "custom" game where as I picked the baxter galaxy since it said 12 players, so I assumed thats the one we were using. I think the first games settings were a little more ideal.

I think we found a bond a pretty early on and I was relunctant to fight someone with a cool portrait picture, just because turtles with space masks and a gun are friggin awesome, hehe. Anyway that was my reason to not plot against you, the portraits can go a long way, hehe. Though to be fair decap(dpp) was an early patron of my trade business until Squid Division destroyed my reputation; so it may have gone either way. edit: Also I may be talking about the first game in the past tense, but honestly it's still everyones game, I think everyone is large enough to recover from almost anything, it's just I detached concern because I'm more interested in the 2nd game now, hehe.

Ohhhh the Red Space Squids have a bold plan for the future of the galaxy, unfortunately it's a future for those who breath water and have tentacles. My plan is already underway and will come to light in... well 3 days.. that map is big, lol. Also in memory of the Squid Division from the first game, I have named a new fleet Squid Division Nova.... since I'm now a squid and probably will be extinct before the second week.

Thanks for sharing boris, it was interesting to see what was going on and pretty much makes sense. It's really neat that starting position and neighbours really determine the course of strategy and I haven't played enough to know how to deal with things. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get bumped for the new game pretty quick so I'll try to get game 3 up and running after that, hehe.

Blahhhhhhhhh!!! So I applied for art school this year, felt pretty confident in my work. I got called for the interview and the three exams. There wasn't enough time to fly down to do the interview in person so they wanted it on Skype. I hadn't used Skype in like 5 years, so when I saw it had video I asked will I need a camera. I am ABSOLUTELY sure that they said no; but when 1pm rolled around yesterday the first statement was "We can't see you?" I really should double check everything now when talking with artists who only use macs about stuff like this, because I essentially got the same answer from my mom "Skype can be used without video?" So that was basically a total fail. The drawing test went pretty badly, the creativity test was about coming up with advertising ideas(no experience, not really in that frame of mind) so that was a fail. Communication test may have been pretty ok, but considering my writting style on these forums I'll assume a fail. Wow, thats just bad. So 1 of the 2 illustration schools in Canada has most likely shut me out and I really don't want to go live in Toronto for 4 years. I still plan on taking a couple months break regardless because I'm really burnt out to do my job effectively, but I really don't know what I'll do now. I could spend the summer making a new portfolio for the more digital schools in the states, but even if I can find the money for it, I'll be in debt for the rest of my life... le sigh. *** I used to have dodgy landlords, but the last 3 I've had have been absolutely superb, I've gotten to know them really well and still remain friends with one of them to this day... I guess I'm on a lucky streak with that.

Yeah, but thats a pretty big expectation, I mean Lynch is Lynch and whoever is directing this series is doing it for XBL. Even when TP kind of tanked in the second season, Lynch still had a goal in mind and once I figured out what he was doing(his own soap opera?) it was kind of funny, though not as interesting as the first season by far. Though they did reign it in just before it ended, which is a shame. Man I just want a TP follow up, hbo mini series, movie, whatever.

Im sure they figured this out already, but I'm really curious. In gta I can drive a car off pretty much anything... but a horse tends to stop if I try to ride it off a cliff. I can't wait to find out.

Well it's not o ernyet and infully expct to lose; since the new game started I'm like what he he'll all or nothing. Like any game like this I like the beginning more then the later stages but Im sure there are ven later stages then this... So want to be around for that. All dpp your supposed to be asleep! This thread. Lol, in all seriousness, why not the idlethumbs podcast? I realize it's about commentary, but what the thumbs desire out of games and the discussions going on could be used as a start off point on learning the fire points of gaming and may help aspiring designers think about certains aspects differently.

Yeah, I may have mentioned, but it really depends on whats going on, usually I don't have the organization skills to put it on a flash drive immediatly and carry it with me. it really depends on the situation,b ut it might be noon hour at work and I want something to play that day, I don't have it on flash, so I redownload it. Or I need to show someone something and dont have it with me, so I download it. I'm not saying this is what the majority does and it's completely cumstantial, but just saying that's me so I can see others doing it. It really comes down to be impatient and unorganized, so I find it easier to download things then it is to organize my files on something I need to carry around.

Not trying to pad the excuses here, but downloading more then once doesn't seem that far fetched. I do it all the time for a bunch of reasons.
