Gee whiz, some games are good, unless they're not. Then they're not good and can also possibly maybe be bad, depending on whether they're bad or not. A bad game is a bad game? NO REALLY? Sarcasm aside, like in any discipline 95% of the product that comes out is shit or mediocre. Not a surprise there. But hey, sometimes bad games have interesting ideas; both indie and non-indie alike. In any case, the editorial above and the surrounding discussion are completely uninteresting to me. Obvious points are obvious, yaaaawn. I think Sterling did make a good point in his previous editorial. That some art games completely obfuscate what it is about, somehow thinking that that is deep. I generally don't give a shit about what the creator is trying to say to me, because I'm not interested in what some 20 year old douche bag's thoughts on the world are. Well, that and the fact that they're all "THIS IS WHAT I THINK" if you strip away the silly layers of obfuscation and metaphor. Though, this connects to the aforementioned point that most stuff is likely shit.

I don't know if you can toggle the TAB function. Strafing is done by holding the right mouse button, I think.

Then Dragon's Lair is to Heavy Rain what Wolfenstein3D is for CoD:Modern Warfare. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't think that it was a landmark title either, but Heavy Rain is much more an evolution of Fahrenheit than anything else.

To a point, I don't think something on this level has been done; you don't give any examples of who did the same thing before it, so you might prove me wrong. Still, there is a lot of contempt for something some of you only ever read about. Although you might be completely right (I haven't played it either), I think it's good that a game like this exists. The broader the types of games that can come out and do well, the happier I am. Can't agree that it's racy because there are a pair of tits on the female. Another thing that bothers me is that both those scenes are completely out of context.

I think the first computer game I ever saw but never played is some football game with bigheaded people.I don't even remember what the occasion was, but my nan and mum took us shopping and then along the way I got that we were buying a NES. I can't recall getting excited about that, because I was 5 and had no idea what the hell was going on. I got Super Mario Bros and my brother got Double Dragon. The Nintendo and it's games are still with me. Best of all is that it still works!! The controllers are all scratched up and have a couple of teethmarks. Aaah, the frustration I channeled into those things.
