The zombie slaying shall be glorious!

Woo! Happy birthday Erkki and the birthday thread!

ord4faH5rXs Had to happen sooner or later, I suppose.

No, I agree. There is no doubt in my mind that a tactile keyboard allows for faster, less error prone messaging. I would prefer it, but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me when I chose the GalaxyS. In other news, I have a gigantic headache. I've mailed like 20 websites to tell them about our game. Took me like 5 hours. Marketing and all that jazz is so not for me. Weirdly enough, a lot of those review websites try to sell you something back. Like ad space or even something they call "expedited reviews" basically you pay them money to review your game... Yea.

Doesn't make me ashamed so much as it makes me feel sad that some old people actually think it's like that. Also: ZbxwtEKpEL4

Yea, but he still ok'd on an agreement not to talk about it, so you know. Thompson is a man of honour! (At least in a public forum, he is )

I use the Swype thingy. It's rather fast, though I'm still getting used to it, so I assume I'll get even faster with it. Also, I have an iPod Touch, so I'm not entirely unfamiliar with touch screen keyboards.

L4D2. Definitely 2. I went back to L4D1 a couple of times and that's just so empty and anorexic...

Ah, yes. I shall miss killing those 10 boars for farmer Cobb. The time we spent together was short, but his endearing wife and his charming personality will make them unforgettable. Farewell ye Olde World of Warcraft! Farewell family Cobb!

We should all buy $5 DLC just to spite Patters! NO... Better idea, let us buy it in Britain! Then we pay £4.50, which is more, which makes it better.

Yea. That happens. There was also a friendly AI who once killed me with his shotgun. At least he said "Oops, that normally never happens", so it's cool. Don't walk in front of an AI with a gun.

I'm playing it on PC. It's quite a good PC port. Plays well, controls make sense, proper mouse support in game and in the menus. Capcom has really stepped up their game with the PC ports. Quite excellent, very playable. I let an American gift me the game, which made the game 50% cheaper than a full priced game! Can't complain about that. Also, hitting a zombie with a sledgehammer feels like... Hitting a zombie with a sledgehammer. Fucking awesome.

Yep. I'm probably going to redo all of the portraits in the near future, so maybe that'll get fixed too. PM me any further feedback, though. Don't want to further hijack this thread.

Eh? Definitely not. Do not worry, I'm not made of glass. I'm aware of what it is, this game. I don't have any illusions about what me and my buddy have created. I just want to improve what we have so that I can move on and work on something new.

Nice, thanks a lot. All of that is quite useful. And you are correct that respawn times vary, depending on the level. If you do finish it, then I hope you like the trophies.

It's tough, because the further we move the paddles up, the more playing field we lose. For singleplayer at least, we're thinking about moving the entire center of the playing field up, since the AI doesn't need the space anyway. You are right about the boost thing. That's not intended, the deadzone for a quick tap is supposed to be a bit larger than that I think. We'll have to patch that.

It works on a 1st gen iTouch. The game recognizes what hardware you are running and disables certain effects to make the game run smoother. We're clever like that. Still need iOS 3.0 or above though! You already bought it, so I don't care anymore what you think.
-
Mind you, any of you who check it out, also tell me when you think it sucks and why. Always useful to know. We'll likely be adding and changing some stuff with an update. Game Center support and all that.

2 Year contract, 20 bucks a month, unlimited free interwebs!

Been super busy for the last few days as this game thing I had been working on is finally released (SHAMELESS PLUG!). Not surprisingly in the least, it's an extreme pain in the ass to even get people to look at it. This is logical when you are App release #100 of that day alone. I will keep working hard to get it out there, though! In other news, tomorrow my new phone is delivered to my door! I'm upgradin' from this: To this: Indeed, it's an iPhon--Galaxy S! I am excited for it.

I hope this brings nothing but goodness! It should, right?

You sexy beasts oyu, don't make me take off all my clothes!

Thanks, folks! I love all of you! Which might be the alcohol talking.

Thanks! Par-tay on my battleship, yo!
