It's pre-alpha, twig. I hardly think their art is finalized. At least, i would hope not.

Probably for the best. It's not all that interesting. -

Yes, oh mighty Tanu. Everyone, stop talking, this thread has fallen into disfavour with the One. WE MUST APPEASE THE ONE!! I say we lighten up this place by making this a place where we post pictures of hot bitches instead, my dudebro's! Fat can be hot. Check out this fat bitch. http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/8426/fatbtch.jpg Cosplay is for losers, but this bitch pulls it off perfectly. So hot. http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/8233/cosplaybtch.jpg I know some people think it's sick, but I love me a loli bitch from time to time. http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6581/lolibtch.jpg Discuss. -
I recently went "Oh, I wonder what's new" but the sad, sad thing is that there hasn't been ANYTHING in that period of time. All anime is bouncy titty shounen crap now. Oh grown up shows, where have you gone?

The literal conversation is right there. I don't see what is out of context about it. I think most of us here agree that both were acting like idiots and neither one of them is in the "right" and neither need defending. Jim Sterling might not be sexist, but he used specific words that are generally used to put women down. Other than that, I totally agree with you, Hermie. Mwahaha-- I mean, that's offensive, rapist supporter. You can be my douchepuppet anytime. -

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I read over this thing yesterday and I felt damn embarrassed for the both of them. I would be deeply ashamed of myself. That's about it. -
A lot of the imagery in Social Network I also found very pretty to look at. Still remember the intro rather well. I don't really know a lot about movie making and terminology, but I found the use of colour and the framing very pleasing.

Anybody want to help my with horrible internet connection problem?
Lu replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Idle Banter
Might work! Coaxial cables don't last forever. They kind of degrade over time. They're not too expensive, so buy one and try it out. -
A friend of mine uploaded it to some thing. http://www.mediafire.com/?iyc58zc6c1u612x For those who can't view it on youtube.

NoE, as long as I can remember, has always been a complete joke. Do they actually do anything important whatsoever? They still use the "we need to translate the games into many different languages for Europe, which is why we can't release at the same time!" excuse. Nintendo seems to be about the ONLY company left that can't do global release launches on their major games... Anyhoo, they've proven their assbackwardness again this generation by bringing back region locking and those fucking friend codes. Stupid. At least their games are still pretty good! So they've got that going for them. Which is nice.

Man, that documentary was damn depressing to watch. A good watch, but depressing. This has been my experience as well. I've been stateside a couple of times now and all I have met is lovely people! Although I did witness some fine Kentucky drivin'. When all is said and done, there is still the Daily Show to give me hope!

That tech is pretty damn cool! Also, when did Kotaku become a medical treatment blog?

Congratulations, man! That sounds like an awesome gig. You gonna put up any pictures of it, give us a looksy? What's the idea for the ARG, can you tell yet?

You liberal socialist hippy America haters.

If the screen was good enough and the people who worked on handheld Starcraft were indeed smart, then I'm pretty certain that the game you'd end up with wouldn't really be like PC Starcraft at all. Do correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone is arguing against having games like Uncharted on NGP. They're talking against how a bunch of flagship PSP titles are basically PS2 games with a bit more frequent checkpointing. Fear being that the situation is going to be PS2 is to PSP what PS3 is to NGP. Sticking with Uncharted as an example; making it into something that can easily be played for 5 minute stretches of time would change the nature of the game somewhat, I would think. So then yes, Tanu, you are right that a lot of these are game design issues that can be figured out and hopefully they will. The track record for that hasn't been great for PSP. Good games. Just not as portable as some would like.

You are entitled to being wrong.

That funny, because I remember constantly having to adjust the camera while playing those 3D games that didn't need two analog sticks.
-
It's not like they're using every control feature at the same time. It's just nice to know that it's there. Not sure why it'd interfere with anything. I'm also pretty sure that there were a lot of PSP games that would've benefited greatly from the dual analog sticks, a lot of them being 3D and all. Looks like nice hardware, but I have no use for it. Now that I think about it, the last hand held I owned was a Game Boy. Not really a handheld gamer, I guess.

They're all talking about journalism, but is a review even journalism? Maybe it's a case of a reviewer writing for its intended audience.

What problem is that, exactly?
