Portal 2 is my favorite of 2011. I'm trying to remember what else, but that's really the big stand out that made the biggest impression on me. Dark Souls and Saints Row: The Third need a mention too, because I enjoyed those too. Dark Souls was one of those games where I really enjoyed the community aspect of it, where I would look up how stuff worked and talk strategies with other folks. The style too, where it's just you in a world, there are events happening and I just really like a lot of what they did. I'm still trying to think of other big title games I've played this year, but it's probably telling that I can't remember them... So I'm sticking with Portal 2.

I can confirm this, because I remember this avatar from the official Unreal Tournament forums around the time when Mark Rein said "Two weeks!" until the UT2k3 demo and then that turned into something like a million years. Point is, I remember ElMuerte from his avatar and can thus confirm he's had this avatar forever.

It's more that I just don't care, I think. The quests are, click on a thing, get a thing and bring back a thing to quest giver NPC. Sometimes you also have to bring a thing to another thing. Hard to keep me interested in that.

I'm actually in the beta and where Diablo had at least a semblence of a story going on, I actually have no idea what I'm doing and why. So far the only motivation to play is to level and find better equipment. But it plays quite well and the skills I have so far are fun to use AND their passive skill tree is joyous!!

Oh man, I never thought I would buy this, but I bought it for 15 euro's from slightly shady webstore g2play.net. Noticed it had co-op campaign mode, which I mentioned to a friend who then bought it too. Played it together and having a really good time with it. A lot of laughing and going "oh shit!". Seriously, throwing people headfirst into walls and off bridges shouldn't be this funny. A lot of great little things I've enjoyed from the beginning parts. , and , in particular.
