Well, previous Sim Cities had aliens and such things, so a little bit of silliness is not necessarily a bad thing. Besides, how much influence would that even have on the sim part of your city?

oh man, I completely missed that original post in my excitement of my recent couch purchase. Purcouchase, if you will. What will your recovery path be like the next couple o months? Seriously, I'm really glad to hear that it stopped hurting. And does that mean you have to sleep on your stomach and/or side?

I went from excited to pure dread to a little excited.

It could be cool, but I am uncomfortable pledging money to an unproven team who have nothing to show for it yet. Maybe that's a bit backwards, since they need funds to develop, but hmmz. I'm suspecting this is gonna be a trend where developers are gonna try and kickstarter the funds for their game... Either way, I'm hesitant to drop cash on this.

I *think* they upload new stuff in all at once. I checked an old email I had and it said: So you might have to wait until after. I'm not sure, because they might have changed it since last year. Or you know, all the talks from 1 day the next day, or something. I'm rather excited, because as soon as I (finally!!) get my broadband this week, I'll get my Vault thing (finally!!).

Oh man, I remember that game getting totally panned in reviews, but then I totally loved it and all its silliness. I'm still a little confused why it was supposedly so terrible... Edit: Although looking at gamerankings now, it doesn't seem like it reviewed that badly.

Maybe the battery gets too hot? Then again, I'm pretty sure a friend of mine had the exact same problem with her Dell XPS overheating. Is it covered under a warranty? Because if that thing overheats whenever you put a little stress on the CPU... That's bullshit.

Alright, scratching OA from the thing. Just ArmA2. I like where this is going, i.e., enough players to get a game going. FYI, to all the players who might be interested, but don't have the game. The ArmA2 multiplayer part of the game is free. You can get it here. Come join us!! I'm currently looking at hosting options. My current thinking is, I can imagine a lot of people aren't entirely sure yet if they'll like the game at all. I'm willing to pay for the server at least the first month and depending on if the folks want to play more of this game or not, maybe we can spread the costs a little. Any mods that will be installed will be server side, I think. For example, I don't think adjusting your scope for distance to compensate for bullet dropoff is in the vanilla game. Plus, we need missions!

It's the same for our postal service and insurance. Weren't the both of those were like a golden standard for Europe? Then they were privatized. Now you have 3 different mail people coming by your door, all from different companies, delivering the same mail you've always been receiving. Efficient! COMPETITIVE. That and I'm reasonably sure that insurance is way more expensive now than it was before. Sources? Where we're going we don't need sources!

Wouldn't that be a nice shake-up to the console market though? The idea is exciting! They'd have to do something about their customer service though, because as it is right now, it's pretty awful.
