I'm going to have to wait until it's released on PC, cause I don't have a 360.

I'm playing on normal, currenly at level 7. There have been a few close calls, but generally I've been nowhere near wiping. I started with my own cast of enigmatic characters composed of a minotaur warrior; a human, and lizard rogue (one melee, one ranged) and an insectoid mage. Once I got used to the QWEASD it made fighting pretty easy, generally speaking.

Why would any developer still do that? Aren't there a million alternatives that are better by now?

Telefragging confirmed! You know, before I knew there were the 4 skeletons in formation, I was checking my map. Then I heard them stomping around somewhere and I absolutely spazzed out, closing the book, opening the book, closing it, turning around in circles and running into walls before "phew", must be behind a closed door somewhere... That sound was absolutely terrifying. Definitely, I got a lot of good stuff doing that.

There's a trick to it that can make it a lot easier: Really entertaining game so far. You don't really get good loot often, and usually you get good stuff by finding secret areas, which makes it really rather rewarding when you do find it.

Pro-tip: I have learned that it really pays to fall down a hole sometimes.

Yea, that was pretty much my point, but don't get me wrong, if it's shit it's shit, but I guess I differentiate "it's shit" and "commit ritual suicide" as criticism. And thus it was mostly directed at Orv, even if he was saying it in a joking manner. I am not trying to tell people what they can't and cannot say; just urging a bit more mindfulness, which might be a weird thing to ask for on the internet. But now it seems like I'm making this a "thing", I'm not trying to make it a "thing". It's not a thing.

Everyone has to start somewhere; no one becomes great overnight. It seems like another matter if one would want this for a multi-million dollar production, but I don't really see a need to be vicious about some random dudes drawings. And hey, it's an improvement compared to that other concept art shown.

I refuse to believe that the development team found this ending satisfactory. Though it's not likely we'll ever hear a candid response from Bioware beyond the dubious "employee who chose to remain anonymous."

Yes, I was going to say. A lot of developers, especially the larger ones, refrain from saying, or rather they can't say, ANY negative things about their game. The only time they'll vaguely admit to mistakes is when a sequel is being made. That they're adding stuff to their ending is probably the most direct way they're going to say "We agree, we fucked up." Haha, yes, gotta love EA's response to that one: Oh snap! Not sure that's the response they should've went with though...

Definitely. It was a blast, again. There are a few more missions we haven't done before, but we need more of them, cause we're running out!

For anyone who has missed it: This, calling it the extended cut, is their answer to all the outrage to their not-so-great ending. I'm curious, but at this point I feel rather ambivalent about it. I guess we'll find out.

Although I did notice when replaying the first game that Liquid Snake just. Won't. Fucking. Die. Kind of to the point of ridiculousness. But I don't care, I still love those games. Especially the 3rd one, because, you know, some days you feed on a tree frog and this whole ordeal, that trial to survive; very intense. I'D GIVE MY LIFE, NOT FOR HONOR, BUT FOR YOOOUUUUUU~Snaaake eater~~

That reminds me of when my first successful game was going to be an MMO. I was 13 at the time. This seems like a phase a lot of beginners go through and then you find out that making games is actually really hard!
