The Arma 2 + Operation AH thread of 'let's try this again'
Lu replied to Lu 's topic in Multiplayer Networking
That's a shame, but hopefully you'll be able to join up. See you soooooon. -
Oh I definitely did, but mostly at the game. If the skill balance is off when playing Versus then that game just isn't fun. The alleviating factor has always been playing with a group of laid back Thumbs, otherwise I wouldn't have played that game as much as I did.

iOS gaming: Just what happens to the blatant ripoff makers?

I think the process is largely automated, as so many apps get submitted. You also select an age rating yourself, of which I'm sure certain tags are more likely to be investigated than others. -

Was fun again, guys. Thanks for playing. -
The headline of that article made me laugh out loud due to the recent bit on Idle Thumbs (where it was pointed out that the answer to a headline in the form of a question is almost always 'no'). I wonder if the low percentage of online multiplayer players is due to the fact that online games (1 on 1 strategy especially) can be very stressful? Starcraft is a good personal example; I've played against a stranger maybe a handful of times and each time the amount of stress it induces makes my heart pound and gives me soaky sweaty palms. It makes me so uncomfortable that I'd rather not do it at all. Playing against AI completely alleviates that for me. The 'cast was enjoyed, even if one of you apparently hates the Dutch. * Why not Belgium, since that actually borders France? Everyone is fine with hating Belgium, even the Belgians! *The thumbs up is for the cast, not the racism.

I bet it was... THIS ONE!

DAE remember this game? So underrated. That mod sounds hilarious and cool. And killing obnoxious redditors is always a plus. Hope you can make it, as we got a whole bunch of new maps to try out. -
I finished The Sense of an Ending and I have the feeling that I need to read it again. There seem to be a lot of complexities and I don't feel like I've grasped it at all.

Carnivale. Arrested Development too, but that's coming back at least. And maybe that was as good as it was at the end because they knew they were getting cancelled. Oh and Invader Zim!

Please let that be satire. O_O

A bit late, but congratulations!

They totally pulled a Dollhouse last week! That came thoroughly out of the blue for me. We'll see.

Is that actually a robot or a cleverly engineered table that looks like it's walking when you push it?

The disparity in tone compared to the rest of the games in the series is pretty significant, in my opinion. I remember a lot of Snake suddenly performing superhuman feats, like jumping over doorframes, and backflipping offa rockets, shrugging off a near direct tank shell hit, throwing a Cyborg Ninja across a room... Actually, thinking about all that puts a smile to my face. There was also Liquid appearing to be dead, being alive, being dead, being alive again and then fucking finally being dead in the space of like 2 minutes. It's probably a matter of preference and I do agree that (disregarding the over the top stuff) the cutscenes were better and that it plays a lot smoother. So really, you can't go wrong with playing Twin Snakes over the original. They're both equally stupid.

Yea, Mei Ling and Naomi Hunter both had foreignese accents, but turned American in Twin Snakes. Twin Snakes is one of those games that my teen self thought was awesome, but my now-self thinks the cutscenes are a bit too much. One thing that has remained the same is that the model they used for Snake is weird and off looking.

I'm for it.

That was nothing short of amazing.

Leaked concept art for the robo-crabs. Managed to get it before it got taken down by Ellwood's legal team.

If it's MY WORLD, then why aren't hookerbots legal and regulated? And, oh my god. The guy needs a reality check.

And I think 10 posts is the limit at which you can make your own threads anywhere. So it should be okay now.
