The Idle Thumbs Podcast Episode 12: The Silken Goku
Brannigan replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
ditto. -
Good, but it's no "What's the difference between anorexic and balsamic?" To be fair though, I don't know if that question can be topped.
-
The rock paper shotgun write up did a lot more to sell me on the game than the trailer did. Not that it was a bad trailer or anything. Supposedly there's a reason it's Bioshock, but even then I kind of wish it was it's own thing.

I'd say the driving is extra bad in this. I'm totally fine with driving in gta/just cause 2 on pc. This felt incredibly stiff.

or a pornstar nickname. -
so that's where this came from...
-
a portal to wintergrasp opened in the main wotlk city everytime a battle was going to happen. As for the tarren mill stuff, I don't know how it was on other servers but it was frequently a world pvp hotbed for some reason on mine. It scares me that I remember this shit.
-
the last death knight quest was a big group thing that you didn't need to form group for. Same with the forsaken city battle...thing. Whatever the hell their home city is called. Both in wotlk.

A Rudimentary Poll: PC or Consoles and your gaming background
Brannigan replied to Squid Division's topic in Video Gaming
Gta 4 and Just Cause 2 pretty much just control like a fps...it's fine. However helicopter piloting in gta can go straight to hell. Oh and for the topic at hand. I started with atari/Pc. I remember my dad teaching me dos commands so I could run games on my own. I mostly just crashed a plane a lot in the first microsoft flight simulator. I was mainly PC, though we did have an NES and sega genesis. As much as I liked the consoles, the PC just had more entertaining stuff. Nothing could touch X-Wing/Tie Fighter/Mechwarrior. -
Look, all I know is there was a head involved, with a shotgun behind it. That's all that really matters!
-
I still wish i had taken a screenshot of patters going executioner style on asembo with the shotgun.

The Idle Thumbs Podcast Episode 10: Nasty/Good/Badass

Front page, left panel. -
I'm lazy! Plus I don't have anything installed to capture video! and I'm lazy!
-
I still think the game should have taken a screenshot of patters shooting someone in the back of the head with the shotgun instead of showing the number of friendly fire incidents. The custom battle music is in audio options, at the bottom. I've now added the a-team techno remix from Spaced!
-
So a friend pointed out the custom combat music option where you can throw music from your pc in for the game to play during dramatic moments. Elevator event + the theme from beverly hills cop = amazing.
-
there's an emote called "zing!" and one of them has Jaeger yelling "ROCK N' ROLL!!" So pretty much this is a great game.
-
It reminded me that I still have no interest in mmos anymore
-
It was actually linked on the tf2 blog, and then destroyed by the traffic.

I don't care about the wrench. However when there is an update coming their writers and artists make my special places tingle.
-
The engy update is seemingly close. Also the comic was great. The Kicasso painting and the old team fortress team photo blew my face off.
-
and it makes it easier to turn the title into a porn parody.
-
I had the reverse reaction. I actually liked the second one better. Perhaps I'm just partial to the Transcredible Adventures of Zapp Brannigan. I know it's shocking coming from someone who calls himself Brannigan. I just felt the first episode spent most of it's time tying up the movies and was less haha comedy. Though the amount of ridiculous plot twists was amusing.

Yea the actual in game footage doesn't make me want this at all. The intro movie makes me want a jedi knight 3.

Hasn't valve been hiring ps3 developers for some time now? Also I doubt sony had much to do with getting valve to take the plunge. However I think the more open network probably helped wet the beak as it were. It is kinda crazy that they'll have steamworks support on a console game. Clearly it was all the whining and crying ps3 fans do every single time someone mentions a valve game. Oh and uh Portal 2, do want. Now.
