I loved the first game, so ridiculous. What made it even more silly was that it was a well put together game, despite being such an insane and hilarious concept.

Yea had a similar experience with one of those biodome bases, was defending it, firing rockets from the top at the tanks trying to assault the ground. Ran out of rockets in time to see an enemy dropship land on a platform next to me and drop off a small army. Pooping of pants ensued.

This used to be a source mod, which I played a bit, it's more or less that but ported over to UE3 and shined up a bit. It's fun, but when I tried playing there weren't many full servers, and often they were playing ffa which is the most boring mode. I'm hoping it picks up after the steam sale. It is quite a bit fun. Reason people complain about archer is because a lot of new players try to play it, and it's not a very easy class to do well with. From what I understand the combat is more complex here than in mount and blade, but I haven't really played mount and blade, just going by other's opinions.

I finally figured out how to resist the siren's call of the steam sale. It turns out if you're completely broke you won't buy anything.

I agree that Dead Island is way too long however. By the last chapter I was just slogging through to get to the end.

The nun hit squad being an actual thing was pretty disappointing. Nick Offerman being the villain is pretty good though I guess.
