  1. Movie/TV recommendations

Please tell me they are the romantic subplot. I really want to see those two make it in this harsh die hard world.
  2. Yea I've played it a bit at a friend's and it's a pretty interesting and hard game. The Wii-u is a weird target platform for it. It was neat sorting inventory on the controller screen but eh, would be nice seeing it elsewhere.
  3. Other podcasts

Started listening to polygon's The Besties. Pretty funny/entertaining as it has two of the McElroy brothers, though the other two hosts are funny in their own right as well. Finally another games podcast that actually clicked with me besides thumbs
  4. FTL

  5. Brütal Legend on PC!

Same, I always wanted to check it out. Modestly priced too
  6. Aliens: Colonial Marines

I enjoy Aliens...but Alien is MUCH better. Need to watch it again sometime.
  7. Prothean was extra unless you bought deluxe or whatever it was called.
  8. Life

we were wondering if you were alive or not!
  9. The nerdist stuff is a bit lighter, being that it's also a comedy podcast. Plus I'm pretty sure that gabe doesn't say something about crafting leather out of foreskin at the school talk. Still the most unexpected thing I heard on that.
  10. The Witcher 3: What Geralt Wants

as much as people complain about the witcher 2's combat...I found I could actually play it, where 1 totally turned me off.
  11. Movie/TV recommendations

Yup, clearly batman should have taken Joffrey out before he became a problem.
  12. Changed Doom Bringer as well! He's half the demon he used to be
  13. Idle Thumbs 91: The Clapper

What amazes me about rob leifield is that he pretty much never improved at all over the years. It's almost impressive
  14. DOTA 2

I've played a ton of both at this point. LoL feels like dota for babies!!1! Really though, I enjoy both, but I do prefer dota's depth and complexity. LoL is very much a distllled and sped up dota experience. That's not really a bad thing, for some people it's what they prefer. It's easier to get into, and these days the games are overall quicker and less punishing. If you're already getting into dota, you may as well stick with it. Part of my preference certainly is LoL burnout, I played a TON of that, but at this point nothing really feels new, I can just jump on any old lord blindly and do fine. With dota I still will jump in like that, unless it's invoker. But even when I get a new lord in dota I still feel like I'm learning something new in the game, I don't get that stimulation in LoL anymore. Dota's good enough for me to risk solo queue, which I outright will not do in LoL. Largely these days if I play LoL it's because of friends that predominately play that game still. On the character design...yea LoL is very bubblegum anime BOOOOOOOOOBS, which gets a bit old. Also LoL doesn't have russians yelling completely insane things at me over voip.
  15. Tried the Least Played mode. Pretty loose definition, I had a couple heroes I was very familiar with. Also wish it was setup more like single draft or something. It's just all pick with most played heroes blacked out. While you may get people to be less pissy about doing bad as a hero you're not good with in this mode, I think single draft is better in terms of forcing you to play something else.
  16. Cyberpunk 2077

Very true. I think I found it interesting because anime/manga never bother trying to justify anything like that at all. Usually it's just TnA as much as you can.
  17. Cyberpunk 2077

In the GitS show there's a point made about Kusanagi choosing her body to be the way it is simply to use the sex appeal to mess with people's heads as well.
