The courier is really not that complicated, click the donkey face, grab all, hit F to deliver. On control groups...I never use them honestly. I just remapped keys like you said. It is going to take time to learn things though, no avoiding that. While the games are similar in a lot of ways, you still have the learning curve you had starting LoL. Learning what heros do and what items do just take time, or a lot of reading if you're crazy. For the most part, the recommended items are perfectly fine, there's only a select few heros where I go in a completely different direction. I basically just dove into dota 2, never read a guide. Kept playing. That said I won my first 10 games or so and then got HORRIBLY MURDERED for a while. I am someone who played LoL for a couple years and then just dove into dota 2 hard when I got my beta invite. It felt like relearning how to walk early on. I think part of what drove me though was my incredible sense of boredom with LoL, where in Dota I was learning new things constantly and was more satisfied because of that.

I actually forgot this existed, and I'm in the beta. Not the sort of thing I care about really.

I seem to always the one who brings up LoL, but it's the best example of the surrender vote. Rarely playing that do I run into someone that quits because a surrender vote fails. Most of the time they will keep playing no matter how futile it seems. Sure once in a while you get a prick that either leaves or screws around. I think it's worth that small chance to get a surrender vote feature in dota so less time is wasted.

In my experience it's not as bad as your cods. Both lol and dotas report features seem to be working as far as less people being total dicks. It happens occasionally, but it's not rampant.

yea brink was fun, there were parts of maps that were good, but overall the design not so fun, especially the indoor maps.

While I haven't actually seen it, they gave omni an agh's upgrade, making his ult global and affect buildings. Seems like a huge one

Listening now, on being insulted: I love when people try to call you a nerd as an insult. It's gorgeous. I'm supposed to be hurt when being called that when we're both playing not only a video game, but a ridiculously complicated one that is on a pc. You can't get nerdier than that.

Well, I still haven't watched Sherlock and think Star Trek needed more Cumberbatch. He was the best part of the movie and wasn't in it nearly as much as he should have been.

In Lol once, I had turn down a friend's invite because I was in a full group, we got matched against said friend. I had to lane against him, just in case there weren't hurt feelings yet.

Complete aside, weird that when I queued with a couple random idlethumbs channel people, we randomly got matched with you.

Everyone should go through the experience of 3 russians swearing at you. It can be incredibly magical. Once I took a rune that I thought our russian mid wasn't grabbing. Boy was I wrong! He screamed at me for a minute straight over voip in russian, then suddenly screamed "MCDONALDS COCA-COLA!!!!" at the end of his rant. I could not stop laughing.

Well, ff 12 had almost exactly the same combat system as ff 11, the mmo. I was able to go from having played 11, to beating a boss for my sister without ever touching 12 because it was the same thing. I never actually played through 12 because it really felt like playing 11 and by that point I was sick of that.
