Fringe basically was new x files, though it eventually gave into lore mystery bs because hey it's jj abrams and co. Enjoyed the first few seasons though, plus john noble was great.

Yea I pissed one off by accident once. I too mostly avoided them. I agree also that there shouldn't be a sequel, or in the very least have it so the new game does not involve any character from the first.

If you're that far and not connecting it just must not be your thing. I was hooked well before that, and found winter to be the best bit. On difficulty: it feels like it should be played harder to heighten the sense of survival, I got it in little bits on normal, but felt it was a bit easy mostly, where shit hitting the fan were the most fun parts. As weird as it sounds, I think easy isn't the way to go, The most satisfaction I got was barely making it out of conflicts. In fact I was pretty surprised that you aren't a bullet sponge, at least not to the extent of most games. I used the bow most of the time and rarely ran out of arrows. Of course it feels AAA, it's a AAA game. However I think it's more than that designation. There's heart to it in a way most big games don't have.

How far are you exactly? I used the bow and arrow almost exclusively unless I managed to get into some serious shit. I feel like playing on easy is not the way to go. Hell I played on normal and felt like I should have switched it to hard. But since I was playing at my sister's(I don't have a ps3) I just stuck with what was good with time. As far as story goes, well, all I can really say is keep playing. It's probably my goty because of how the story is handled both within and out of cutscene.

I imagine it's also easier to argue/fight with an actual face in PA's case rather than a more or less faceless monolith like microsoft. Now if terrible policies in xbox live were attributed to a singular source, I think it would be easier for some to latch on to that target. Plus PA has a habit of not being able to keep it's mouth shut on something (re: dickwolf regret), while microsoft can more or less get away with just saying nothing. Microsoft simply doesn't change/improve policy and doesn't talk about it. Basically it's easier to get mad at the guy who can be argumentative and wants to be in the right in the heat of the moment.

Exactly! Actually it would just be inconvenient if I lost that stuff, as it's images of artwork, which I still have the originals of. Though I'm sure I'd hate having to spend hours taking photos again. I like to live on the edge!

It's not heat...it's odd that something would come unseated given I never move the thing but who knows. I remember checking logs the first time this happened and often it was attributed to random things. Did not get around to checking anything this time. The great BSOD mystery...annoying. But again at least everything's working for the moment, and anything important is not on my main drive, though I should probably burn copies of my portfolio stuff for school.

First server I joined, immediately see a guy named The Hardy Boys yell "haha we got away" while he took off in a helicopter being chased by 4 airplanes. If only The Hardy Boys had been that action packed in my youth!

I have no idea, it's working again after pretty much the equivalent of shaking my pc around. Checked if everything was seated right, and it's ok. I don't ever move the thing.

I hate my pc. A while ago it started BSODing for no clear reason. After a reformat this was fixed... Now it's back. Thing dies on me within a few minutes. Not really looking forward to another reformat.
