Shamelessly reposting my exciting evacuation moment from Titanfall: We barely lost hardpoint, My titan is the only one up and I'm defending the dropship from enemy titans, I figured I'd just sacrifice to save the others. I take one titan out, Mine is in flames, however. The Dropship has taken off; I eject, My titan's explosion kills another and I manage to land inside the dropship just seconds before it warped away. So apparently it's totally possible to catch the dropship after take off.

I totally blame that on me typing the posts today on my phone. Totally the phone's fault I typed that....yep.

I don't think any of us are angry with him persay, it's more about discussing the idea of seperating a work unto itself, to take it out of cultural and political context and why that's really not possible to do. It's an argument we've all seen at some point and I'd rather discuss it than let it propagate even in a small fashion.

It's not really politics, it's about culture and trying to seperate any sort of entertainment or work into some sort of vacuum where these issues don't exist is frankly naive. There's a cultural influence loop to and from any given work and not having that up for discussion is to ignore whatever cultural ideas, stigmas, or attitudes surround it. You can't accurately discuss something without including everything associated to the work. Plus pretty sure the donkey kong thing was an offhand joke

On weapons, there's clearly more in the full game than the beta, there's burn cards for weapons that aren't unlocked in the beta yet. I really would not be surprised if there was a smoke grenade for soldiers given titan's have a smoke ability. I don't think they can do yearly release, I think respawn is a smaller studio than infinity ward was and I believe they might own their IP rather than EA
