  1. Eskil is ridiculously smart and talented, there is no doubt about that. But whether he can create a completely procedurally generated MMO remains to be seen. It is impressive looking, but it could be completely busted. There are exploits in completely linear games, I dont see how you could make it so there are not exploits in levels that you actually have never play tested. That said, I want to be a beta tester. There is a good podcast with him over at gamerswithjobs, if anyone is interested.
  2. ODST Firefighting

Hit me up if you'd like: Commandante X
  3. Heavy Rain

Like I said, I am not sure if they will, but David Cage has said many times in interviews that the end of Fahrenheit was bad. He referred specifically to the kung fu and Internet robots (or whatever the fuck they were).
  4. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi All, Just heard about Idle Thumbs on the 1up boards, and it was said that your podcast is second to none, so thats why Im here. I also like talking about games, a lot. So much so, that I have a blog about it. I really like the IT site, it looks spectacular, and the podcast, from what Ive listened to, is splendid as well.
  5. Heavy Rain

I did a lot of research on Heavy Rain for an article I wrote on it. I think that the people at Quantic Dream understand that Indigio Prophecy's ending was terrible, and they arent going to make the same mistake again. But, like people have said, while the concept and ideas in the game are really interesting, it depends on whether they are properly implemented. The scene with the cop in the convenience store looks pretty cool, I must admit.
  6. PSP

I wanted to pick up a PSP for the new Parasite Eve, but other than that, I havent seen anything too interesting. Perhaps Patapon 2 and Half-second Hero, but that is it.
  7. Half-Minute Hero

The humour looks pretty cute, and I like how hectic it is. it would be fun to play co-op, though I am not sure how you would do that.
  8. Have people seen Machinarium?

    Loved Samorost, will play this.
  9. Scribblenauts

Though the idea is amazing, I think its implementation is terrible. I reviewed the game over on my blog, because it is one of the more interesting releases as of late, and in doing so I learned to hate it.
  10. Odious Tea

Ya, I love this game. Bungie has become really good at making amazing linear battles. The anxiety and fear that you feel when those drop ships come in is awesome. My favourite, actually, is that they have made the AI in a couple battles try and actually take ground (in Oni Alpha and the last mission), which can become pretty stressful, as you cant just hide and snipe constantly.
