In my head I just replaced Guybrush with Link in his pyjamas from Wind Waker and it worked surprisingly well.

Most of the "invites" at first were actually just "move to the front of the invite queue" tags, so you wouldn't immediately get an invite but would be a lot closer to getting one than the people who just asked for an invite through the Wave site. P.S. I'd love a Wave invite. I have no idea what I'd use it for, though. Just like my Google Voice number, which I rarely use.

I exclusively use only the Mayan calendar. Office 2003 handles the format well, but Microsoft appear to have removed lots of the Mayan calendar functionality in 2007. Presumably they feel that come 2012 there'll be no need to support it.

Thinking of Moses as a modified cleric... At level 1, Moses can cast 3 level 0 "part minor water" spells per day, parting 1 unit of water per casting (thinking of a "unit" as a gallon). A level 5 Moses can cast 5 "part minor water;" 3 "part light water," parting 1d8+5 units of water; 2 "part moderate water," parting 2d8+5 units of water, and one "part serious water," parting 3d8+5 units of water. Going by that I'd assume Moses in the Bible is Epic level. Sounds about right -- Miracle is a level 9 Cleric spell, and you don't get those until level 17.

I think a neat corollary to the "This Year in Thumbs" of all the games y'all have discussed would be a "That year in Thumbs" of all the times it went off the rails ("JESUS CHRIST... I did not like that at all," "Time Donkey Balls," "serving you tools on a plate made of tools," "pulling shit out of your ass" "that card blows my asshole," etc etc etc).
