EXCITEMENT. No doubt aroused by the discussion of Lost Girls, one of our kitchen cabinets leapt off the wall. Every item of crockery and glassware we own is now arranged all over every flat surface in the kitchen (thankfully I noticed the cabinet was coming unfastened and we emptied the cabinet before it came down).

Sure! But if it comes back with any pages stuck together, you're in trouble.

I must have... different... eyeballs?

A pity. If they'd had a Q&A I'd have asked you to ask him what the hell was up with Cobweb's origin story from Tomorrow Stories Special #1 because seriously, man, that's made me feel like a pervert. Er. Like more of a pervert. (Stop looking at my Lost Girls box set.)

(HAS EVERYONE IN THE WORLD KILLED.) (No, hang on, this isn't helping my case.)

I'd love to work at Festo. They made the robotic fish, too, if I recall correctly.

I looked over hubby's shoulder at his 3DS, and my eyes had to work q hard to focus into 3D. Even when I held it in my own hands, it felt like I was never really seeing it. I can see how this might give people headaches. Apart from that, it's nice. (Even the bear puppet 3DS case that hub bought. Which is RIDICULOUS.)

Why not hop a bus? (To see AM.) (Will there be a Q&A?)

I would like one of those to carry me to work.

Mort was my first (it's considerably shorter than most others), followed by Pyramids. I recommend Pyramids.

I have not been this happy since my wedding. -

Purely to annoy you. There's a class in all French écoles titled "ow to annoy zis one personne, Keeengzjhesterrrr."

I don't think she was asked, purely: her parents paid Ark some money. That doesn't excuse the drubbing though.

I would never imply such a thing. I simply haven't the skill.

Mmm, when you put yourself out there with a 'creative' or 'entertainment' item, you expect the usual response of criticism on the item itself, but you get extra - feedback on you as a person. Music and other media include a lot of focus on the person as well as the product (perhaps because in pop, the person is the product?) - I doubt she expected that. I wonder when criticism became so personal? Was it when radio and TV allowed for more of a concept of media as formed by humans, and a focus on creators rather than creations, or was it already happening before then? (Anne Brontë got a scathing review of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall accusing that Acton & Currer Bell (the pen names of her and her sister, Charlotte) were one Yorkshire woman, but certainly never one suggesting they get eating disorders.) But! Don't let me Tanu this thread, it's meant to be about funny videos. Sorry!

Kroms: I let my C/++ work/play rest when I realized I would never get anywhere without being able to explain recursion in an amusing fashion. I tried to explain these ducks to the friend I was chatting to on the 'phone by describing how they were harassing a squirrel. He just told me to pretend I was a swan (presumably by extending my neck) and stand up to them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscovy_Duck

I walk home past a large lake filled with ducks - the Muscovy kind, that are quite big and brave. Braver than me, sometimes.

I'm spluttering impotently at JavaScript for 8 hours only to look in my archives and find that I already wrote the necessary code 6 months ago and my day's been completely wasted. Then I'm being menaced by ducks.

You hadn't noticed that option?

Ditto.
