You know what I miss, as an ex-pat Brit in the wilds of Florida? Prawn crackers. Can't get the same kind of thing here. My asian grocery has some "shrimp crackers" but they're not quite the same. Oh also, pickled onion monster munch.

I'm primarily front-end UI/UX/IA, but I can also do backend dev. My experience includes ActionScript, AJAX + JSON, some ASP/ASP.NET, C/++, CSS, Flash and Flex, HTML/XHTML, Javascript, jQuery, some Perl, PHP, Python, some Ruby on Rails, MySQL and SQL Server. Even a little BASIC for the BBC Micro. I think the problem is that my experience is so broad, and I don't have much to show because of NDAs. Ronald: are you averse to commuting? There's Marin, etc.

Motorway, sweetie. Or, possibly, dual-carriageway (I can't remember Dover that well but I don't think the ferry terminal has a dedicated motorway exit).

Yes, this CYOABC is the best thing, available in small chunks, and I encourage anyone who reads this to participate. Or, if you don't have a G+, review every day and weep gently. P.S. Pass on the details to your family, friends, co-workers, and podcast audience.

Nachimir (if you return to the fora before 2014): Am I reading his Twitter right? C-Monster* was at your event? That's pret-ty cool. * Gillen

The natal language is the machine's interpretation of how you speak to your Xbox. The Vita language is what you actually meant.

I was running XP through Parallels, but Parallels is so futzed up that even a complete uninstall and reinstall from DVD can't fix it.

Oh, that's an idea. Currently I'm just making jokes at the expense of Phil Tippett.

Tell that to our sysadmin at work. I think I'm last on his list of upgrades because I need some interesting "legacy" apps to manage passwords.
