The simplest of video game ARGs. (oh man remember ilovebees?)

How I feel it turns out on any occasion I try to interact with "famous" people (e.g. Jake, Sean, Chris, or Scoops):
-
Yes, but it's not related to the thread. They're veladoras/novenas, and they're widespread in Latin American Catholicism and a number of syncretic religions (Voudou, Santeria). Also they may be used for candle magic outside those religions - St. Jude's colour is green, and green candles are used for money work (especially in hoodoo, though a Wiccan friend uses them too*). * not that it's worked for her, mind you.

Can you suggest some replacements for standard, everyday household items that are far superior in terms of usefulness, luxuriousness and quality? 80+ suggestions, most of which are great. I really like my Now and Zen alarm clock. It goes "ting" once right at the time of my alarm, and then waits 8 minutes before it goes "ting" a second time, then waits 4 minutes to go "ting" a third time, then waits 2 minutes, etc etc. It's a nice gentle way to wake up and usually I'm up and alert by about 2 minutes after the first "ting."

Congrats, Jake & Sean!

Scrobbs, I'm nowhere near Tampa or Miami - I'm in the "taint" bit of FL, not the flaccid shaft. But if you're driving you may pass through. PM me once you have your itinerary more firm and we'll see if I can loom from some shadows near your vehicle.

Huh, I asked Scotty if TTG were up for anything and he said no, but there was a video thing. Maybe I misunderstood! fuck knows what that was about Maybe Sean and Jake will win a VGA for Idle Thumbs! (Chris will be snubbed because of that incident with the shrimp at the 2010 VGAs.)

Interestingly, I got a freelance programming job in part due to knowing someone through a forum. The forum was about a completely unrelated subject. (I used to be a lot less annoying on forums, and hence more employable.)

Ethan made a time machine out of butter, Lila was strangled to death by a robot, and then the world ended in a strip just as hilarious as loss.jpg. Then it started up again and the main difference is that people have four fingers instead of three. REVOLUTIONARY.

I had the number disabled because I was only ever getting complaints. Apparently I'm a bad poster and do not contribute to this forum! Whee! P.S. no joke, an insect just tried to fly into my ear and I jumped and almost dropped my laptop on the floor. Augh! Insects divebombing my lugholes give me the creeps. They're worse than clutter.

See everything that B^Uckley and Dobson have done? Do the exact opposite. (I'm not an artist or much good at drawing anything better than stick figures. I once drew some neat-looking birds though.)

I genuinely appreciate the way that threads that begin as exchanges of amusing things inevitably devolve into our overthinking a plate of beans.

HOW'S MY CONTRIBUTING? CALL 1-888-I-THUMBS!

Scrobbs: TMobile has fairly OK coverage across the states; sometimes you may be off their towers and roaming on another network, but the phone should have an indicator that it's roaming. Check your PAYG tariff to make sure they allow roaming. (Meet up with Shammack in CA, then me in FL! Tether both ends of your trip with forum members!) (No, don't actually do that, it's a bullshit idea. Have fun instead!)

Oh, good, now they can be our pets.

Dear gods! I stop posting for a few days and I come back to goblin sharks!

If only there were some way I could get recognition and accolades without having to do anything!

Subtle, 'blix. Very subtle.

Eh, all right, the similarity isn't quite what I thought it was (Lowe here is flipped vertically and Generic McHero is rotated a bit).
