Does Christmas really come earlier and earlier every year, or is it just me getting older?
-

There'll be a little shammack in the credits. (He'll be in the corner, waving.)

Cabot doesn't like the cone but still tries to groom his incision, so he's wearing baby clothes to keep him from ripping out his stitches. The past three days it was onesies, today it's a white cotton t-shirt. The retailers that track my shopping habits are probably really confused about why I'm buying baby clothes.

Thumb-controlled trackball supremacy for life, yo.

That sounds more like ADD. I use the phrase "my brain feels like it is full of unclosed parentheses" to refer to the way I will get distracted by a new task while partway through an old one, leaving the older one unfinished. P.S. SA is worth it, you can just find a couple of threads you like and stay there if the whole thing overwhelms you. Avoid FYAD if you're new, and if you post in YOSPOS you have to spell it catte. Them's the rules.

Scotty has it and his main gripe right now is that the old c-stick "swarm" mechanic is missing which has negatively impacted his pikmin controlling abilities.

How many weeks past the release date did you have to wait to get your OUYA? How many times have your controller buttons got caught under the faceplate?

I'm happy to report that the vet says he can come home tonight! We're going to get him in an hour or so. Excitement!

He'll take about 3 months to be back to fighting shape, but then if the surgery got all of the tumour (vet seems hopeful) and it doesn't pop up somewhere else in his body (not too common with osteosarcomas in cattes), he'll be just like 3/4 of any normal catte.

I present a picture of our three-legged cat in his cage at the vet. He's on some quality painkillers. Also feat. the hand of shammack.

P elementary stratz if you've been in that situation before. Impressed you went to the lengths of telling him exactly which moves he needed to make. No, wait, not impressed, the other one.

Checking in to report that the surgery went well; it finished after 6pm last night. They had to take the leg, of course, but they also had to take a ton of muscle, so it was a pretty major amputation. The vet will be calling this afternoon to let us know how he's recovering and talk about visiting him. Hopefully the report on the removed leg and tumour will show that they got it all and with a good margin. The vet says he will still be able to kittyloaf with only three legs, but it will be a bit lopsided. Like the below.
