Final Fantasy was my first console RPG and I completely loved it. VIII I didnt play more than 3 hours of and I recently tried it again and decided my decision to stop had been a good one. IX I liked a lot, X was fun too. I have played FFXI and exploring the world and environments in that game is amazing. The downside being the ridiculous bar you have to cross in being able to even set foot in most of them in terms of time spent levelling. Final Fantasy XII was probably my favorite, it was like a fun IX. So I'm looking forward to XIII AND XIV next year. I really haven't played many other JRPGS, skys of arcadia and tales of symphonia, so playing a FF is a really nice change of pace from all my other games. I guess I am a massive kawaii Final Fantasy fanboy then, shit. Having said that XIII looks ridiculous but then X looked way worse before it came out. We shall see.

I have not played the game. However I imagine this is what I will write later on after I have played it and I will alter if anything changes. "Welp, just finished MW2. I killed a lot of dudes. Big things happened while I was doing that. That was a fun 4-5 hours!"

ugh thats depressing. A bit of a disappointment after last years "Most Disgusting Game of The Year" award went to the superfun Gears of War 2, this years contest seems like such a downer. And while I agree that sounds disgusting, I did fuck a demon last night in Dragon Age Origins and that's pretty disgusting too. So maybe Activision wont win that one! But seriously that was a really good article, thank you.

Oh no! Did the Torchlight patch make the shitty wizard even shittier and ruin Chris's emergent meta gameplay (cough)? edit: \/\/ DPP I played it for half an hour and got to 3.5 meters. At first I was laughing, then I experienced a rush of euphoria as I managed to make the guy take a second "step" and then shortly afterwards I shouted FUCK QWOP. edit2: I looked on the Runic message board and Travis is already working on a fix to make the enchanting freaks happier, it looks like there was a massive increase in risk of enchanting (80%) and the reward drastically reduced. He said he would try out a build with people in the thread today! That's so cool.

I started out as a Human warrior in Dragon Age this week and found it pretty dull, so I went back and started a Mage. It was such a different experience, I found all the conversations interesting and the little story of you taking your wizard exam was cool. Plus you get all these codexs from the library and for the first time ever in a game I read all of them. I think there is a fair bit of flavor and depth to this fantasy setting, there is just enough different stuff to keep me interested. So after the mage experience I've been playing through all the Origin stories and its really enjoyable. Kind of like lots of the Citadel stage in Mass Effect.

I just watched the new trailer and I predict there are going be a lot of really big extreme events involving next to no gameplay and it will be over in about 5-6 hours. Without a doubt it will blow you away.
