  1. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

Actually got the game and I'm a couple of chapters in. Really happy that the intro is indicative of the quality of the game as a whole. Well, at least is is so far!
  2. Neptune's Bountiful Pride 5

    Hey hey, I'm in.
  3. Recently completed video games

I have been really tempted to go through on Legendary since I beat the game, though my Halo: Reach multiplaying has lessened a bit. It's weird, I've heard from a few sources that Legendary isn't a massive jump on Heroic. At the same time, well done!
  4. Starcraft II

I have played very, very little in the last month. Last time I went on I was swiftly annihilated, and my hands felt like they were moving underwater. Are people still playing on the NA server?
  5. Project Dark(Demon's Souls successor)

I really really hope they just go ahead and confirm Project Dark as the title for the final product. Because it would be hilarious. I like Demon's Souls a lot though I haven't gotten very far in it. I really want a game with that art style (and the coolest dragons I've ever seen in a video game) in a video game that I could play in something approaching normal fashion. I know it's a large part of the point, but I'd be very happy with a Demon's Souls type game that had a regular (read: playable) difficulty and a classic Demon's Souls type mode.
  6. Good Old GOG

I agree, but for someone like me who never played Icewind Dale first time round but would like to try it, the service is great. I haven't bought a boxed PC game in a LONG time, and I'm not going to start a collection now. Still, it's nice to see fair criticism of the site that isn't just complaining about their PR move (which was a bloody joke anyway).
  7. Costume Quest

I really like the simplicity of the basic setting. I like RPGs to have epic storylines as much as the next guy, but I like the idea of a couple of kids wandering around and using their imaginations and/or doing battle in a closely related parallel universe/um whatever thing.
  8. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

Yup, I finally played the demo, and it's spectacular. I'm sold. Which kind of sucks because the budget is hurting already and it's barely October. Giantbomb review is great as well, really makes the game sound awesome.
  9. Minecraft

    Thanks man, will do!
  10. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

I haven't played it yet but I'm quite interested. Concept seems really cool. Monkey! In the post-apocalypse! Everyone seems to hang out there.
  11. Minecraft

Ok, I logged in and ran around and talked to Joflar for a second, and then it crashed twice. I saw a couple of your creations though, you guys are awesome. I'm looking forward to getting into it more.
  12. Minecraft

I'm finally taking the plunge and I'm going to be walking around your creations soon. I tried the free singleplayer but all that really happened was that I beat up some sheep.
  13. Dead Rising 2

The latter issue is a big obstacle for me. I enjoyed Dead Rising but I never got very far in the main story line. From the reviews coming out it seems DR2 is similar but with a better sandbox environment. Just not sure if I can be bothered to be honest.
  14. Tim hires Ron

I bet you would have done a better job than that joker.
  15. Broken Sword: Director's Cut

Sounds cool, I must confess that this wasn't on my radar at all. I've never played the Broken Sword games.
  16. DeathSpank

Sounds cool to me. I enjoyed the first one a lot more than I thought. I want to get back and spam the attack button to get myself to level 20 on the first game and maybe I'll buy this new one in October (after pay day).
  17. Neptune's Bountiful Pride 4

Yup, I'm down for the next game too if there's room. Maybe there'll be two games next? I played a game early on, before all the randomizing of names and such.
  18. Starcraft II

Sorry about that mate! I've actually been playing very little the last two weeks. I'm a bit intimidated by the need to improve, and I'm still in silver! I'll be looking out for you online.
  19. Milo

Thank God. Although it's not like Kinect and Playstation move have suddenly become less annoying. I'm going home to turn on my wii.
  20. BioShock Infinite

I agree. Levine has the track record, but we have to wait and see. I always get worried when developers are so high on their own supply so early.
  21. Starcraft II

Sorry to be vague, but I'm not sure if I can make it. I definitely want to, I haven't been online much recently. I'll post here later if I can make it.
  22. Civilization 5

Oh God. This game is the opposite of what I should play if I actually want to finish my degree. I think my Civ 5 playing days will have to wait until 2011. Which kinda sucks.
  23. Halo Reach

Yeah, I was a little frustrated by the section right at the very end. Loved this game though, my favourite Halo game, easily. There were spots here and there were I kept dying at the same point (damn fuel rod guns!), but the fights were great, and I thought it was the best story of all the games. It was helped really by the fact that a true Hollywood Ending was pretty unlikely, given the fact the game is up front about how Reach ends up.
  24. 3D

Yeah, I recently opted to watch cinematic classic-to-be Resident Evil: Afterlife in 2D because I didn't see why I should pay an extra four dollars to watch a movie at three o'clock in the bloody afternoon. 3D televisions are good news for people who don't care about 3D because the "regular" 2D televisions will continue to drop in price while the manufacturers try and drain money out of this imaginary market of people who make six figures and are frustrated with the lack of 3D in their living room. Also, I couldn't give a crap about 3D in games, except for the UI thing, which sounds cool, but can't justify the expense or the inconvenience of wearing big stupid glasses over my actual prescription glasses.
  25. Demon's Souls

Go with what Sombre said. My copy of the game sits there, waiting to be played again, and IT WILL BE PLAYED AGAIN. Even though it took me a long, long time to avoid death in the first ten minutes of the level. That is genuinely part of the appeal, learning how to progress past the various enemies. The curve is steep but you'll find that once you have the hang of beating a certain type of enemy you will just cruise past them on your way back to that place where you died.
