I spent so much on buying champs that i never used, their 10 free a week is definitely working>< I had no issue with LoL when I only played it, but going back after playing Dota 2 i felt it looked pretty garish and ugly. It doesn't really overtly bother me, but i think little things like that add up when you are deciding what to play. It is widely assumed by "the internet" that they release champions heavily overpowered and then scale them back when people have cashed in. Zyra, Draven and Diana have all recently displayed this.

Man, Riot added the single lane training map and a new spell to custom, so now people can have ARAM in style. I love that mode. nomnomnom. I had an awesome ranked game as taric last night as well. I pulled two major saves out of the bag. I never really played him much, but he was pretty sweet. Also, PSA. If you abandon a dota game and get put in the naughty queue, don't accidentally abandon another game and get put in there for even longer:( I'm in the naughty queue. It isn't actually any worse than the regular queue tbh. I just had a pretty sweet game there, and i feel less bad about insta-random when i'm in the naughty queue.

From what i recall, there was respawns but it wasn't the whole map. Every so often a mob would appear in a cleared area. Like the screaming monkeys that haunt my nights.

Thanks for the tip, but my 1st gen ipod touch is on its last legs, so I shalln't burden it any further with apps. I just copy them via iTunes nowadays as the poor guy can't trundle past some hurdle in iTunes and crashes out when I try to download a cast.

I picked this up again because of this thread. I'm absolutely loving the writing and the humour etc, but i'm feeling really let down by a few issues with some non obvious interactions, enemies and general platforming/controls. I also just spent 15 mins grinding arrowheads in order to spend a ridiculous amount of time on the Milkman mission before discovering that a) you could go into houses and you could attack cars. After that i spent 20 minutes dealing with what seemed like terrible collision detection on the boss. There is tiger enemies that are situated beside zone entrances, so by the time the screen fades in you are half way to being on fire. I know its an older game so maybe i am just too used to hand holding now, but these things are frustrating me. And why is there so many different paths to building the one XP resource in the game? The game is utterly saved by the amazing writing, but if it were any other game i would have dropped it a long time ago. Spefically on the milkman, the secret agent lines were so so good. Also, i'm completely mesmerized by the neon collectables in peoples' heads.

I usually top up my chicken carcasses with some good corn fed chicken wings that i can get near me (it is around €3 for 12 which is loads to top up what i have). Otherwise, if you know your butcher you can ask him for chicken carcasses. My brother gets them for free from his. Risotto is so good. My usual is pea and prosciutto, which oodles of parmesan added at the end. Even though I don't drink it much, I've started keeping a bottle of white wine to hand for the making. It's actually a really good standby meal as i nearly always have the ingredients to hand to make it up. nomnomnom. I also made my peanut butter ice cream. It is ridiculously rich. It was a lazy/non custard one, but the texture came out really well. Again, it is stupidly rich. i was full for the entire day after scraping out the ice cream maker bowl. That didn't stop me from making some butterscotch sauce to go with^^

Oh god yes, the ice cube ones are a mess - do they even make them still? I'll give a report on mine after I make some ice cream. It had no issues with my sorbet for sure.

It sounds a bit like what i would cook with soy, honey, ginger and sesame seeds/whatever i find. Is it not hella sweet for a savory dish, or is that what wets your whistle? Edit: you should try and get your hands on some concentrated coke syrup for a quick dinner:P

Oh! I assumed it was my house internet, but i got that exact thing in my lat game. There was some weird teleport and HP bar bugs for a few mins after the lag as well.

I'm no expert wahwah, but comps seem to be made far more on the fly in dota. See a broodmother? Got a sand king. See a over abundance of invisibility, get slardar. There is a myriad of counterpicks that i don't know, and many that arent obvious to me untill pointed out Once that has been taken into consideration, the last spot or two will be taken to fill out the team. Even playing pugs I've seen tri lanes, dual mid (I'm still not sure the exact function of that one over a side lane), double jungle, no jungle, roaming gankers, pushing strats, roaming strats...I usually play a nice safe support:p

I didn't realise how boring I found the lol meta to be until I saw the options in dota. I've only played gyro once, but it was awesome.
