I like lich because I'm not very good at games. And sometimes you can make 2 enemies explode if you ulti them right. I also like sand king a lot. I like to disrupt things a lot, and once you get blink you can have some hilarious Benny hill escapades. Also, tide, caus shark on head.

Paddy irish man obviously.

Paddy irish man, paddy English man and paddy scots man were walking down a country road late one night. Suddenly, in a burst of fire, the devil appeared. He said he was going to take them all to hell unless one could put something in his hand that would not melt. Paddy English man went first. Gingerly he placed his house key in the devils hand. The devil laughed, closed his hand and from between his fingers metal poured. Seeing this, paddy Scotsman went to the side of the road and picked up a stone. Sure it would work, he placed it in the devils hand. Again the devil laughed, and melted the stone with ease. Paddy irish man had a think about the problem, but finally reached into his pocked and produced a sweet. He placed It in the devils palm and took a step back. The devil laughed, closed his hand only to look frustrated. He tried and tried, but he couldn't manage to melt the sweet. Eventually he gave up, and slunk back to hell to sulk. Paddy English man and paddy scots man rushed over to paddy Irishman, wondering aloud at how he had managed to twarth the devil. Paddy irish man laughed and said, I gave him an m&m, and we all know, m&m's melt in your mouth and not in your hand. Edit: typing on ipad, major joke><

Probs shouldn't have read that spoiler, but that sounds like some Arrested Development style foreshadowing! There are only 25 episodes on Irish Netflix:(

Something like Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is technically one dungeon, but it goes down and down and down. Inside the dungeon there is also vaults and sub levels (like the orc mines). MJ just moves to an overworld approach. I also like it better, it lets me pick and choose the order I do the dungeons in. For instance, I'm pretty good at the trollmire and the woods now. I can gauge pretty well if i can take the big 2nd boss in the trollmire or leave him till later. I can ignore anywhere there may be rogues for now, as they are the biggest weakness I have, in my already impressively weak game plan. Roguelikes probably aren't the place to go if you want to be a tourist. I've never been past level 10 in DCSS, never finished any of the side dungeons in it, i've never been past level 14 in Brogue, i can barely handle the attic in Rogue Legacy, and i've seen the icecaves maybe 3 times in Spelunky - none of lack of progress matters to me much, i'm there for the journey and to see what hilarious horrible things will happen to be next. In MJ, i can finish three of the starter dungeons, the extra trollmire boss and the orc tower - I am now getting brave enough to try the maze or the worm tunnel. Playing on normal adventurer that is. Edit: Speaking of which, any tips for dealing with rogues. I tend to favour the bulwark and cursed, and i generally get eaten by them.

Also, kinda upsetting if you are a PC gamer who was only ever owned a DS to find your 3DS is region locked. All i want is my SMT IV :/ (I knew before I got it, but it is still sad making).

I don't have any idea how long a run is typically. I've been having a lot of fun with the base classes and the 2 i unlocked. It's a roguelike though, so to say "how long is a game" is more "how long can i survive".

I enjoyed it greatly as well. I've been meaning to read some more of his books for quite a while. I found the writing quite dense at first, but once you get used to it it makes for a very enjoyable read. Questions on the nature of the cities roiled around my head while i was reading it too:) Such an odd idea, but brilliantly executed.
