Has the fps issues been fixed yet? 20 fps with everything on low is no fun :/ and my pc is not even 3 years old.

Haha I went 14-4-18 as KotL in a 42min game. Illuminate can be a bit ridiculous sometimes. Especially when you have popped your ulti and it's in the middle of a teamfight. Really hard to spot it being cast.

I don't about people willing to mentor you but I'd suggest watching pro games and try to apply what you've learned in your games. Also just playing a lot is underrated advice.

I'm currently stuck but it's been really interesting so far. My favorite thing about this is the seamless(?) level load and then you start moving your mouse. Every single time it tricks my brain and I have to shake my head to snap out of it.

Holy shit. My first encounter with the beast was so fucking tense. It was perched on this small ridge behind me and I had no idea what to do. I had a knife in my hand so I thought maybe could defend myself. The beast slowly came down seeing as I wasn't trying to run away and it started circling me. I tried swinging my knife at it but it didn't seem to have any effect. He swiped me and I fell backwards into a pool of water and died. This game and Minecraft are the only ones I played that have made me feel genuinely lost. I was right next to a tent and I saw some flowers in the distance in a grove. I traveled what seemed like 15-20 meters but when I turned around what I saw I didn't recognize at all. Also no game does night better than Miasmata (and the Stalker games.)

Anyone else have experienced terrible matchmaking? Like 2 guys on the other team going 12-0 and 9-2 and one people on your team going 0-10, 2-7, 3-8 and 1-6? I might be spoiled with amazing matchmaking after having played SC2 since release.

Oh man, after just 4 games I'm starting feel comfortable in my old DK boots. Gonna try out Clinkz sometime soon too and see if I remember how to play him. It's almost scary how similar the game feels to the WC3 mod.

Got a Dota 2 beta key yesterday. Haven't played Dota in years (3.7 in RoC. Never played dota all-stars) and played in the LoL beta for about a week. Here we go!

HAHAHA! Just listened to the intro to the Bookworm podcast. It's like the book version of the Idle Thumbs theme.

I'm playing on hardest difficulty, no tagging, no stealth, no crafting, no fast travel. It's almost as hard as Far Cry 2. The things I don't like are not being able to skip cutscenes, the terrible menus and the endless notification popups that you can't turn off. EDIT: The save system is the fucking worst. I'm trying to get at the FC2-ness but the game is trying really hard to annoy and hinder me. Probably not gonna play more and I've not even played 2 hours.

Holy shit I had the most amazing experience I've had in a game in months. Me and 20-30 others were trying to take over this Biolab but we were only successful in taking one of the four surrounding facilities so we were basically backed into a corner. Until... 20 something friendly tanks rolled in out of nowhere! It was like the end of Saving Private Ryan.
