  1. Videogames for very young children

O my god. I just got flashback of memories when you mentioned Putt Putt. I remember that I played it when I didn't have a clue about English so I finished them just remembering pictures every day(because I didn't know how to save, if you can?) until I finished it over time.
  2. audiosurf: Holy funk!

@GrouchoClub Sometimes happened the same thing to me, but I figured out that if you have just one letter written in diffrent way in name of the song or artist game recognises it like another song.
  3. audiosurf: Holy funk!

Not many people know that you can get free Orange box soundtrack with Audiosurf. Just go: -steam-steamapps-common-audiosurf-engine-orange box soundrack- and you must copy it, not extract. Enjoy in your free but legaly paid OB sountrack. Edit: And it works for demo too.
  4. audiosurf: Holy funk!

For me the main appeal of this game is when you dethrone someone of scoreboard, then the next day he dethrones you ,the next day you dethrone him,... until you win:). And if anyone wants to know, how crazy I am: http://www.audio-surf.com/mypage.php?u=Sleepdance+%5BSLO%5D 87 times of Dylan's Hurricane on hardcore eraser elite is not bad at all.
  5. audiosurf: Holy funk!

I did that for about 10 times, when steam didn't support my credit card and then bougt it in Indie games pack for about 3 euros(that means 27.4 euros/hour and growing).
  6. First I'd like to say that I haven't read the theme yet because I didn't have time. And secondly: Usually the things that make impact on you in games are things that could make the same impact even if they wouldn't be in game(usually a cut scene or song). And I should add that this is mostly true for things that devoloper wanted you to fell, not like lets say the engine makes posible to happen, but is not something that happens to millions of people people playing the game.
  7. Videogames for very young children

    Try Peggle or even Tetris.
  8. audiosurf: Holy funk!

Man, this game stole over 80 hours of life in last 2 months. I started playing it just before the update hapened and I have to say, it really ads aditional level of skill.
  9. Do you want games?

Great. I'll make a great gift for my brother. I will PM you as soon as I get minut for it(could you put on side rythem paradise or meteos). And as thank, I can't anything better than this: (it helps if you know the language, but whatever)
  10. Do you want games?

I would go with Rythm paradise GBA or Meteos, but I'm not sure if GBA had region lock.
  11. Torchlight?

Demo of Torchlight reminded me of a picture I recently draw. It's not OMG but I'm happy and it reminds me of my character(I just played the demo so it's little basic, but still scares me).
  12. @dpp: You wouldn't belive how much time did I laugh to this.
  13. Something clicked in my head when Jake said that Chris was dead for 6 years. I don't know what, but made me feel extremely depresed(and I was laughing at the same time, like I do to every Idle thumbs). P.S.: Can't wait for the ''Hot Video Wizard: the Scoops Game'' extravaganza(no Baboos). P.P.S.:With all the best to Nick, I just remembered this: The traitor has left, don't worry we gave him the check.
  14. Idle Thumbs 49: Bargo Busters

Does anyone have any idea where could I get some IT related pictures to create theme for Windows 7?
  15. Idle Thumbs 49: Bargo Busters

This is totally off topic, but I found some great quotes on steam recently: -The Windows 7 Recently Played list should be repaired for people who play many games -Fixed performance issues on Windows 7 for users with many friends and groups -" It's good and you should buy it." (PC Zone) First two are from steam update and the last one is about Eufloria. Also The Wizard
  16. Idle Thumbs 48: In Space

    Yup, it was same here.
  17. Idle Thumbs 48: In Space

Really sad news. You could get Chris Kohler on after Nick goes.
  18. Left 4 Thumbs

I was thinking what could the next mode for L4D2 be and I got an idea. It could be survival and versus modes combined. And if this would hapen, it would be one of the examples for raping on internet...
  19. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hy. My name is Sleepdance. I started listenig to a podcast when you appered on Game life blog by internet's Chris Kohler(get him back!). Some time ago I decited that i should probably check forum and I'm currently going back and reading old Threads. O, and by the way. I'm from Slovenia(it's a country, not a town, eaven if it is smaller than London, Paris or your american gardens) that is....o just read the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slovenia Edit:And Chris. If you ever intend to make songs that are in foreing language that you can't understand or pronaunce contact me:)
  20. Totaly agree. And I would recomend a book called ''Quo Vadis?'' by Henry Sienkiewicz(hope spelled correctly) and all three book in ''The Bartimaeus Trilogy'' by Jonathan Stroud. First one is an amazing historical novel, the second are very funny but also very deep fantasy books. O, and about Time donkey:http://blurst.com/time-donkey/ ''This game is actualy real.'' IGN.com
  21. Tales of Monkey Island

I know this is offtopic, wouldn't be great if taletale would make Monty Python game?
