  1. Sweet episode! You should post the supposedly insane email with blanked out names, I really want to read it after hearing you talk about it
  2. Books, books, books...

I didn't suggest that the ending was good. Just, surprising...
  3. New people: Read this, say hi.

Not the podcast archive but the archive with articles and stuff from before Idle Thumbs turned into a podcast.
  4. Books, books, books...

The ending will blow your mind. I'm soon done with Kingdom of Fear by HST. It's about him, his life and his thoughts on USA in general... Let's just say that they aren't very nice. After that I've got some low-key Sci Fi lined up, namely Cloud Atlas and Ghostwritten by David Mitchells. Which one should I start with? After that I've Moby Dick, Underground (about the terrorist attack on the Tokyo Subway by Murakami) and some more Cormac McCarthy lined up. I also plan on reading Paradise Lost before it becomes another God of War clone I read that when I was a kid, pretty awesome book. Never struck me to compare him to Dan Brown, maybe because I just recently read all his books and yeah, I saw the movie with Tom Hanks (I really don't want to compare any book to any movie with Tom Hanks in it).
  5. [PROTOTYPE] In Stores Today!

I recently finished this and I must say it became quite boring after the novelty of ripping people apart wore out. I had a blast for the three or so days I played it though. One thing I really enjoyed was the interactions between the military and the mutants. Sometimes you can see tanks rolling about the streets and killing mutants and civilians with an extreme disregard for innocent people... I'll see if I have any screenshots to show you what I'm talking about. Oh, and the game is extremely violent with great sound for the gore. I'd suggest you rent the game or just play the demo (if there is one). Edit: The guy in the GB QL was pretty awful, it's possible to kill those choppers in quite a few attacks.
  6. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi guys, I really enjoyed the podcast and figured I'd join to talk to some other people who also enjoy the podcast. Oh, and I haven't been playing very much the last few months, I revisited Orange Box and played some more Team Fortress 2 that is pretty much it. I generally enjoy all game as long as I can find something interesting to hold onto, but I've been busy not playing games a lot recently. What happened to the Idle Thumbs archive? I heard you guys talk about it in a podcast but I can't find it on the site...
