I love Toad!

I just got to Los Angeles and got murdered by robots. I have leveled up one of my characters to level 9 (of 10) in Computer Science, the skill that lets you take over hostile mechanical people! However, nearly maxing out that skill only gives me a 63% chance of successfully commanding these LA robots. My character critically failed a challenge, then four other unseen robots ran halfway across the map, surrounded my party, and beat us to death. These are just some random robots at the first location we visited. And it's for the dumbest, most trivial quest: lobotomy42 is right about the major quest of Act 2 and it's so underwhelming. Los Angeles is just as aimless as Arizona, but without the promise of anything more interesting to look forward to.

Oh man, Lord of the Flies plus that seed is so unfair!

Aw, that game's artwork looks nothing like this game. Anyway, I just preordered Overwatch—can't wait to play this Campo Santo game!

The most underbaked part of these games are the vehicles Yoshi transforms into. They are odd, self-contained minigames. I spent so long as a mole-truck digging for red coins.

The linked video states: "A show out of ideas teams up with a show out of episodes." I wasn't very impressed with any of the Bongo Comics Simpson/Futurama crossovers.

Mmmm, baked probes...

Yeah, apparently there's an error sound and that's the only feedback that a seed doesn't work. I just assumed I was horsebagging it the whole time. The Cathedral? Sheol? I don't know what these words mean! Wow, I am a really bad Isaac player. (I also never discovered the second quest and true ending of Symphony of the Night or the good endings to Fallout 1, so yay me...)

I played HORSEBAG as a seed last night, which led to me being cornered by a mud-man against a rock that was hidden by the mini-map.

How great is it that the map now appears over the play area? So great!

Ughhh, I picked up Guppy and should never pick up Guppy. I made it to Mom but got one-hit-killed seven times. Also once again, I set aside a half-hour to play this game and end up playing for an hour. I like it when I die quickly! It feels weird to have flies shoot at me at actual speed; I'm used to being able to count on Flash slowdown to be able to bullet time around their shots.

Can't wait for it to unlock!

I've been dying repeatedly in Nintendo's Donkey Kong and Sega's Congo Bongo. Once the ape uprising begins I'll be the first to go.

That's horrifying!

I compulsively buy used CDs. About 1,200 CDs into my collection and I've only come across one game accidentally filed with the music: the CD version of Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego!

Oh, I forgot about the sludge quest I was on! I legitimately think it's impossible to complete.

Instead of going to bed on time, I've been playing more of Wasteland 2! This week I have played the same "boss battle" to completion four times, redoing it until I was satisfied with the results. I realize that technically I'm still doing the very first quest of the game: "Attach a responder unit to two radio towers." But the game keeps redefining the goals of this quest and has left it incomplete 59 hours (Steam time) into my playthrough.

You should team up with fellow engineer "SecretAsianMan" Dave and create a nuclear-powered sports car.

I will never get used to the third episode not being called Episode 2!

I know every single person here disagrees, but I like having the man dance over the end credits. It breaks the Red Room sequence out of Cooper's dream and lets us know that, yes, that really happened in this episode and odd events like this are something we'll need to deal with throughout the show. It replaces Laura's homecoming photo, and shows us that—just as Laura is always going to be a presence—so are the goings on of Mike, Bob, and the Man From Another Place.

Michael Ontkean's reactions at the beginning of this episode help soften the tease from the end of the last episode. Cooper is just way too pleased with himself!
