  2. Zombies...

oops fail by myself forgetting the authors name. Ah okay, yeah I saw you'd put "Ron Gilbert" but wasn't going to say anything, I knew who you meant
  3. Zombies...

  6. Zombies...

okay, maybe "very good" was an exaggeration. Its an enjoyable, well drawn zombie themed comic.
  7. Zombies...

Yeah I'm reading through the walking dead at the moment, I was thinking more of novels. The walking dead is very good though.
  8. Zombies...

Was that actually any good as a book though? (rather than just being funny as a twist on the original story?
  9. Zombies...

I’m looking for good books that feature Zombies as a central concept, as in surviving the zombie apocalypse (not zombies as characters). One thing to note is that I have read Charlie Brook’s “World War Z” and really enjoyed it, now I’m trying to find other books on a similar theme that are worth reading. Any recommendations?

  11. So happy that the podcast is back...

  12. 2001 a space odyssey....

Well I started by re-watching the film after getting past Clarke's foreword in the book. Like many have said I found that book added a lot of detail and explained a lot. I think that Kubrick managed to convey 'Space' incredibly well. He did a lot with scale, sound and even movement (I'm talking about the rotating space station). I think that a lot of people who prefer the movie actually prefer this aspect:
  13. 2001 a space odyssey....

I'm currently rereading it an really enjoying it all over again. Anyone else who's read it, thoughts?
  14. It feels good to be back...

So I listened to all of the episodes of the podcast a few years ago and it really helped me during a very lonely time in my life. I know thats a little lame but it did help. I have fond memories of listening to the podcast and bursting out laughing on a bus, receiving many odd stares for doing so. It was one of the first podcasts that I actually listened to on a regular basis. I even contributed, getting an email read out on an episode. So when the podcast finished and there were no more updates... That was a really sad time. As I'm typing this I've only just discovered the site and the podcast is back, immense joy has ensued. I'd like to say thanks, say that it feels good to be back and to have this podcast back. It means a lot, keeping being awesome. Now... to do a complete run through of the podcast before the new episodes really start
  15. Torchlight?

to the guy above; i use it on my net book as well. IT does run reasonably well. The track pad can be a pain but it does run better than you would think. And personally im really looking forward to the release of the editor.
