  1. Burnout Paradise

I had resisted getting this game for the longest time, but they FINALLY sucked me in with the ability to restart. I know it sounds like a small thing, but I know myself, and I would damn sure drive back to every starting line until I won that particular race...I'm just competitive like that. At any rate, I've gotta say that the game is AMAZING! I honestly can't see myself buying another road racing game this generation. I love the arcade feel. It's absurdly easy to throw your car into a drift. I haven't felt this sense of speed in a game since Wipeout XL. The wrecks and graphics in general are gorgeous. I could go on and on with hyperbole, but suffice it to say that if you have even the most remote passing interest in this game, you should buy it.
  2. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi. I wandered in because I dig the casting of the pod and figured there had to be a cool community starting up around it. Turns out I was right. My name is Chess, frizby on PSN. I'm 36 and have been gaming most of my life going back to the 2600. Right now, I'm spending my gaming time on Burnout Paradise, Warhawk, LittleBigPlanet and Rockband. Hope this finds you all well, and I'll try to be as active as time permits. It's always fun to get in a community on the ground floor!
  3. I've listened to 10-15 game podcasts/week for the past two years, and yours just became my favorite (or at least the one I most look forward to every week). So good work, or something. Seriously, you guys are clearly friends, and you have great chemistry. I also don't get a fanboy or snob vibe from any of you...just 3 funny guys who enjoy games...and you're either very quick witted, or you edit the hell out of the show! I was motivated to join the community and post because it was terrific to hear a podcast acknowledge that some folks are making some really remarkable stuff in LittleBigPlanet. Now that the search engine works, it's truly become the Youtube of video games, and I really think it will have legs. Keep casting your pod, and I'll keep listening.
