Something came to mind listening to an old podcast... What if the game was only "go to hell" an it 'd be like an open hell, sandbox hell if you will... That could be sweet and actually convey that "exploration of the 9 circles of hell" feeling... Or wouldn't it be enough ? What do you thinks thumbers ? Is open hell close enough to vaguely conveying the divine comedy's spirit or do you feel it'll just be just "go to hell, on rails" sponsored by Amtrak or something

What's the radio receptor's use on your heavy mechaniks Tolbix ?
-
That one might be an accurate one: "This game will make you go to hell" IGN.com
-
they said DRAW a cyborg, photoshoping is not drawing ! >_<
-
Probably about wiisports 2: "This game will and send you flying off" IGN.com

I guess... That's strange, I can't find any beauty in the contemplation of this picture, it's sure awesomely wicked and strangely distorted kind of in a german expressionism way, burtonesque picture I would say, But I dunno... Sure is interesting and all but my beauty chord is not rang by this... I loved the game btw •^.^•

thanks ! Loved that part "a half-Helghast, half-Human spy" I'm picturing a regular guy with only one red eye...
-
Yeah basically I'm a story lover I had among my friends a lot of contrasted feedbacks: some loved it, some loathe that game... To me, the thing that can save any game is the story so if the Helghast are so not inventive and unoriginal I guess I'll pass on KZ2. Even if it has a stunning 91% on metacritic, I'll try it at friend's

That's in essence what I find: charm, check, liking the graphics, check, beautiful, definitely no >_>
-
With a review like that I guess I'll keep my bucks ^.^ Thanks

There is one thing that bothers me... Helghast. What's up with them? They're like belligerent alien beings that I get. But why, and what are they apart from humans with red goggles ?
-
It's so cool It's really neat It's super duper But beautiful... eeeerm no.

Man dreamfall... That's a game I wanted to play so much and I finally I did not, probably because I didn't pick it up... So how was that game ?
-
That one's tough, can't think of any game that loves me T_T But the other way round is easier "games that you love but don't love you back" I guess that was mostly CoD4 in veteran "Game, I love you Game why do you hate me so much" and the game coldly gives you another ton of headshots to punish you...
-
You are an awesome and horrible person at the same time... Speaking of paradox
-
And I guess this thread could have an evil twin "Games you thought you loved but hated in the end"

Well, being an occasional reviewer, I sometimes have to try a new RPG, and that effect does apply every single time... AAarrrrh FUCK YOU another game where you start as a fucking random farm boy and have to kill rabits for two hours before you can get your wooden sword oh and who's that who killed my parents ? Well, I guess it's the bad guy and he'll be too strong and kick my ass... Oh he did... what a surprise! So yeah, that's really a recurring pattern: shitty debuts of another RPG and then I get sucked up in it. Happened in Fable, in Dungeon Siege, in Tales of Symphonia, in Summoner which I really liked in the end and in countless others. Apart from that I think getting raped onto my very first game I began to hate counter strike when it came out, but in the end I tried it again and got to love it. No frankly, not killing anybody and getting raped in the ear by every single guy is a hard way to get into a game. «FUCK! Dead already, get up you puss he barley touched you!»

You are both right on the MI3 thingy which is just completely erased from my memory cause I didn't play it, so I jumped from the second one to the fourth which you will admit is quite an improvement although it was a shitty example cause it looks more like computer drawn than hand drawn... Ok my bad I suck I'll kill myself later on... Btw, Prince of Persia 3D was pretty decent compared to other 3D stuff that I was playing at that time.
-
Monkey Island 3 was pretty sweet, and Prince of Persia Sands of Time does kick ass compared to the second ^.^
-
On one hand, it looks like a goodable game, yes you could make something cool out of it, on the other hand it is still true that it seems like a bunch of goofers are going to rape an epic story and make it a dumb beat em all... We'll see I guess...

«This game is so awesome it'll get your ass kicked out of our forum speaking it's name in front of your computer» IGN.com

It was kind of a cynic comment but yeah, fuck it i'm crazy...
-
Right about that one you were, it's quite awesome, although I'm not really impressed by the animations and never really found myself looking for anything or thinking really hard, but hey, super game, loved it !

I'm sorry, since the catastrophe these two words can not be placed in the same sentence anymore, it has become a taboo. As for the RPG of the divine comedy, having Leneth's voice ringing in my head shouting "Divine assault" it has to sound like a good idea... But yeah, though your design ideas wouldn't give me a hadron as much as particle physics can, I must say it does seem like a better genre to convey the book into interaction... I guess my favourite pick would probably be an enigma game, slow and sad, in a hell frozen in time by the presence of Virgil with crazy depictions of tortures and pain caught in the suspended moment. You would arpent hell and resolve enigmas such as opening very complex gates or freeing people from their eternal torment to get their help and so on... I'd play that game Partly because traveling through Bosch's hell or even a crazier hell than that, reinventing hell as being the most horrible place in existence instead of playing though that generic hangar or science facility as in every other game would in itself be a great thing, but you'd have to make it exciting I guess, so If you go to far from Virgil you're not safe anymore, this being part of solving puzzles with probably crazy physic interactions like you can burn yourself in fire to be reduced to smoke and ashes to be at to places at the same time and recite the bible to open a hole in a flesh wall...
