  1. 1. This was the first Thumbscast I brought with me to the gym on my iPod. I actually had to stop listening, out of fear that I would drop a weight on myself in a fit of uncontrollable laughter. It was around the Will Wright/John Carmack speech discussion. 2. Wright's "Soviet Space History Minute" was one of the highlights of last year's GDC. He explained why cosmonauts still carry handguns into space with them. It was glorious.
  2. This podblast itself made me cry. I think that alone says something.
  3. The inability to use a baseball bat not in a race is disappointing.
  4. Remo, you should consider adding links to these threads below each respective cast on the frontpage. Add another button under 'Direct MP3 Download' or something.
  5. Remo: I actually asked Mike Capps last year in an interview if Epic was considering developing something along the lines of "Unreal Live." He said it wasn't something they were looking at, but that he was interested in the free-to-play concept and would personally be keeping a close eye on both Quake Live and Battlefield Heroes.
  6. Glorious! Two Idle Thumbcasts in two days!?! I am awarding your hard work, Chris, with this wonderful image, which I came across this evening.

I don't want to seem sycophantic on my first day, but Marek, your avatar is stupendous. Would it be inappropriate to change mine to this?

  13. "Chris Remo sucks cock" - Slashdot

Someone with a Slashdot account needs to ask that guy what his contribution to society is. But seriously, Slashdot stopped being relevant about 5 years ago. It's commenters opinions, even longer before that.
