Idle Thumbs 50: "Farewell, Video Games" or "The Shitty Wizard"

This was the first podcast I listened to. You guys always shared interesting and usually hilarious thoughts. I played PC games for the first time because of idlethumbs so that is pretty cool. Good luck Nick, you future's so bright you better wear shades. Look forward to the future sporadically delivered podcasts. -
Pretty good marketing move for Idle Thumbs. Podcasts get exponentially more popular once they end. I look forward to the inevitable reunion tour.

Idle thumbs has entered my dreams. I had a dream last night that I was back in high school trying to get everyone to say "the wizarrrrrrrrrrd" and listen to the podcast. I had to fight off the school bully(who looked like a young revolver ocelot) to accomplish this. Weird.

This podcast made me go buy some Vernor's ginger ale. You can really taste the barrel. -
I enjoy the player one podcast.

I enjoyed your discussion on The Beatles. Especially when talking about Paul's bass playing. No matter what he's always grooving and has written some incredible bass lines. He's definitely my favorite bassist. Left 4 dead sounds like a good time. I'm really interested in that Novint Falcon now. Looks like something fun that would cause me to play some more stuff on the PC. It reminds me of something I'd see in a bad movie with a kid playing video games(video-games?) in the future.

The panasonic G10 is a good buy http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-VIERA-TC-P42G10-42-Inch-Plasma/dp/B001UAEWSU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252533351&sr=8-3 Sharp Auquos series are known for low lag. http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-Aquos-LC42D65U-42-Inch-1080p/dp/B001E93J36/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252533579&sr=1-5 Samsungs always seem to have the highest lag when people test them but they always look nice.

Well I play bass and I really like building stuff. Mostly woodworking, building a grandfather clock right now.

You are a gentleman and a scholar!

Beatles rock band is going to be the first one of these I actually own myself. I decided the beatles kit is just too much moolah. Do the Guitar Hero guitars work ok with Rockband? I kinda like those better

Idle Thumbs 34: The First Age of Extreme

I'm somebody that quite enjoys pinball and I was trying to think of what about it I like. It's a simple game, shoot the ball and then flip it. I don't know what it is exactly that draws me in..shiny lights, the sounds, the themes, beating my high score? I played pinball before I played video games so maybe the nostalgia is part of it. Basically I'm a child. TL/DR I don't know how people manage to beat a lot of games. Even in high school when I had tons of free time it would take me months to beat games. And the only games I remember beating when I was younger was the mario games. I beat super ghouls and ghosts recently and that was satisfying. Never playing that again. In short, thanks for the podcast guys. Entertaining as always. -
I'd like to play it. I played the inFamous demo at my friend's place and it was a lot of fun.
