I am surprised I lost connection just once throughout the entire thing. But all in all 'twas fun.

I know some of us (including me) are only keen on playing the new DLC campaign. We've already had our fair share of versus in the past and don't really feel like getting back into it. But if have more than enough players I'm sure they could organize a versus mode.

Count me in. I'm making a solemn pledge in this post right here to be there. Even if I am the only one to show, I'll still be playing L4D2. So there!

If you are refering to the L4D campaigns (No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air, Blood Harvest & Crash Course) they are already out. Just loaded up the game to check, the new DLC "Cold Stream" is in beta and potentially playable right now.

I bought this on launch day. Played half an hour of the single player and a match or two of multiplayer. Then got side tracked by all the other games that were coming out around the same time and have yet to go back to it. So yeah, I would totally be in for a thumbs game.

I still haven't played DayZ. I downloaded the ridiculous amount of files required for installation. But haven't gotten around to even installing yet. Guess I better get on that, now that we have a steam group and a thread?

So I managed to piece together this gif, from some quick screenshots I took. The choppers would continuously respawn, bounce up into the air and then crash. Would have been nice if I could've grabbed the aftermath explosion to complete the gif, but the immediate explosion killed me. This second gif is missing a frame, but you still get the picture. If only I had the means to record a video right through steam at a moment's notice, this wouldn't so hard to show. Other than wild connection issues on my end, I enjoyed our small group shenanigans. I think my internet just doesn't like skype simultaneously running alongside other online applications, if that makes any sense. For whatever odd reason, my router kept auto resetting mid game. Here's hoping mumble works next week.

This might have been brought up before. If so I apologize in advance. The new forums seem to be missing a handy link leading back to the main site. It might have been a deliberate decision to not put such a link since there is no real need for it. But I found the Thumb link on the old forums useful in the past. Just my two cents.

I thought we had already decided to move on to Combined Operations? Now that we all own it (except Brkl and Armchair). And apologies for not being present this Sunday. I was exhausted playing a shit load of Diablo 3 the night before and entire Sunday morning.

I have beta access, but have not played it for more than five minutes. Once I've played it myself, I would be glad to join in on multiplayer.

On a completely side note, I remembered Lucien saying something about an ad for a game that somehow made use of the acronym F.A.G.S. I knew what he was talking about but just could not recall what the game was or what the acronym stood for. So, uh, on sort of a "spur of the moment" thing, I just bought the ARMA II: Combined Operations package off steam. Within the group of our most regular players, I suppose that just leaves Brkl as the only one without Operation Arrowhead then? Sorry Brkl if my impromptu purchase potentially forces you to get it as well.

I'm always in for some L4D2! Though most of the regulars are burned out and done with the game. Throw me an invite if you see me on steam.

I pretty much had not played the game at all up until this event. So playing it for the first time and figuring it out on the go was quite an experience. And sorry I don't have the Napoleon DLC thing. It wasn't on sale and quite frankly I did not expect a majority of the group to already have it. Thanks for having me tag along guys. 'twas fun.

Sorry, I totally forgot about that. So Saturday same time works for me as well. Posting an event notification thing in the steam group for whatever day we choose would be a bonus.

Unfortunately weekdays don't work for me. I'm on the other side of the world from most of you guys. When I get off work it's 5pm EST here which is 9pm GMT. I understand that might get a little too late for most of you on weekdays as well. We could do it on saturday same time as usual or postpone our Arma game for next week?

Just bought the collection on sale (M&B, Warband and With Fire and Sword). Here's hoping we actually do something with this or it's going to end up in my steam sub-folders of "games bought but never played".
