I'm gonna be the cynic here and say it's more like Saint Row 3.5. Not that it really matters to me. I am still absolutely going to play it.

It might take a while, considering they are prioritizing access to players with cities already present in said region. Sigh. Server status.

Guys if you haven't logged in at least once in NA East 4 I can't invite you to the region. Even if we're friends on Origin when I log into our region I don't see some of you on the friends list.

We are in a 16 player region and have plenty of room. Sent you a friend request codicier.

Well I still don't see any invites to the game. I can access the region and see only toblix and gwardinen in it so far. Of course it won't let me actually join without being invited. So... Since I have friended everybody in this thread should I just go ahead and create another region with the same parameters so we can do this thing together?

So as part of buying Arma 3 in it's Alpha phase we recieved 3 invites to "Arma 3 alpha lite". I am assuming "lite" would mean it's lacking in some features, but you should still be able to play with other Idle Thumbs folk. Steam just notified me that I have those invites now. If anyone wants to give Arma 3 a go before buying it for themselves let me know. This way, maybe we can gather a larger group for our weekend excursion.

Assuming we've friended each other on Origin, we can just invite people into a region and avoid the whole browser thing altogether.

Guys daylight savings time screwed me over last time. I'll do my best to be around next weekend.

Guys I got talked into coming in for work on Saturday. I have to start an hour before the hot drop squad is called into action. They have promised me it'll only be for a couple hours. If you guys end up running a longer session again I might show up in the latter half. Otherwise count me out and have fun!

Moments before taking that squad picture, Snooglebum was attempting to ride atop a moving aircraft. I managed to grab a screenshot of that. Also some asshole was flipping over vehicles that we had just spawned in our base. From the reactions everyone had, I gather this is popular way of trolling in this game? Mumble crashed on me twice and the game lagged like hell every so often, but I had fun nevertheless. I wasn't expecting that session to go on for that long though, considering I hadn't had lunch when we started and six hours later it was almost dinner time.

I see two events scheduled for the same day. I suppose those could/would overlap? The first one starts at 10 am for me and quite frankly I don't see myself joining in that early.

I had never played planetside before and didn't know quite what to expect going in. It was a whole bunch of chaos at first but I'd like to think we made a difference out there in our own Idle Thumbs way. Hmmm...I got a PM from that user asking for my AC3 code. I suppose he/she only made the account for that sole purpose. Sorry buddy, ain't happenin'.

I recently got myself a new graphics card which provided a code for Assassin's Creed 3. I already own AC3 through steam and so have no need of the extra code. The extra code needs to be redeemed through here and from what I can tell is not attached to steam. So I think this would work for you UK folks who apparently can't get AC3 through steam. If anyone on my current steam friends list wants this code it is yours.

So I just started this up and played for about an hour just to see if my PC could handle it. I am so glad I can run it on Ultra settings on 2560x1440 resolution with a steady framerate. Definately looking forward to getting more seriously into it over the weekend.
