I think I got maybe... halfway through without really relying on a walkthrough? An additional annoyance is that while there are less than a handful of unsolvable "lost forever" type puzzles in the game, there are still a lot of puzzles that punish you harshly for guessing wrong or for not knowing the solution before you engage with them. I thought the game was hardly a bore with a walkthrough, though. It's still very challenging. And as far as the puzzles/exploration go with a walkthrough, at the very least it's an impressive game just for how clever and intricate it is, even if it's impenetrable to most people.
  2. I'll throw this here! http://steamcommunity.com/id/deburgo I'm pretty much up for anything that I own. I am probably bad at most games, though!
  3. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi! Hello. I've only made a couple of posts here, but I've listened to the podcast since its inception. I thought I'd check out this forum a bit more, see what's going on! edit: 3 posts, now.
  4. Stupendous cast. As far as the stream goes, I dunno if you guys know this but there's a pretty decent twitch app that notifies you when favorite streams go live. It works really well and I recommend others use it. It's how I found out about the stream, and the other unexpected idle thumbs streams. Of course, schedules work well, too.
  5. Yeah, I dunno. I'm kind of torn on Hotline Miami. It's really fun, probably the most fun I've had in a while (hell, I beat it), but it's hard to recommend it without a few reservations. It does that kind of thing that games like doing when cribbing from films, which is to strip the film of any dramatic irony or satire or even context, and just take the most superficial interpretation of the film(s), and stick it into the game. It's a really good superficial interpretation, though. Your guy can murder other dudes real good. It's awesome. Sadly, I have to say, I like video games after all.
