  1. Who Registered http://www.dota.today/?

gTLDs are super dumb. I love it so much that I had to get in on the action: http://lords.management/
  2. Is that a pixel Jake? I hope that's a pixel Jake.
  3. Games giveaway

Rodi, it looks like they're both Uplay only. I think you'll need to set up an account, download the client -- all of that fun stuff. Send me a PM if you're still interested.
  4. Games giveaway

Edit: Claimed! I have Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag available from a voucher that was bundled in one of my video card purchases. It expires on the 28th and both games activate on Uplay. It's one code for both games, but in one of the steps in the redemption process you'll be given two separate codes for each game. Feel free to give one away or redeem both.
  5. One user took the TwitchPlaysPokemon chat and is using it as input for Tetris on the NES, too: www.twitch.tv/xkeeper_
  6. The second session of Gabe Newell at LBJ School of Public Affairs is online, but the audio quality is a bit spotty and captured some of the audience talking among themselves. There's a loud sound at 5:30, so be mindful of that.
  7. I did some remixes once, here is another one

    These are pretty great
  8. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

I was already looking forward to the game, but I pretty much have to buy it at this point.
  9. Other podcasts

It was a great segment! And if that wasn't enough, Vinny Caravella popped in after the Idle Thumbs folk. That mad libs was quite something. This year's Octoberkast was pretty good. I was happy to see Adam Savage stop by.
  10. Thank you for sharing this. Properly synchronizing all of this must have been a real task.

  12. New website!

Very nice. Props to all who worked on it.
  13. While this is a bit more humble than a full-blown production in CryEngine or UE would probably be, I found this simulation of the Curiosity landing to still be really cool: (it uses Java and you'll need to accept the prompt) http://eyes.nasa.gov...nts/msl/edl.xml The "live" mode followed the landing procedure along as it was happening based on the time. You can select the "replay" mode to view the landing again. You can also double click almost any object to center the view about that object, including the skycrane as it shoots off in a direction after the rover separates.
  14. New Forums! Post feedback, notes, etc here

Oops, mis-post. I miss being able to delete my own posts.
