I haven't had time to play Gay, but I reckon the multiplayer isn't spoiler-licious. AKA im up for anything

Yesterday was awesome, even though our team lost most of the time. I'll take my part of the blame, as I haven't played in 4 months and I was jetlagging to the point were I felt awake but in reality it was information overload. Still though, it was tonnes of fun and that's basically the important thing.

I have had nothing but good experiences ever since I randomly started playing Grand Thumb Auto. It is in truth a very easy-going group of people. I don't think people are gonna throw a fit if you try to befriend them. Have you joined the Idle Thumbs group on Steam? If you carry the Thumbs badge, people will greet you as one of their own! I guess the only problem you might encounter is that the game is filled up quickly because there's only room for 8. Looks like more people joined after I left though, so maybe they're running multiple games these days?

Christ, that website is just offensively bad. That's all I have to say.

Man I'm not gonna watch the trailer on Youtube. It's already torture enough sitting here waiting for it. Might as well announce that I'll be home Saturday in 2 weeks. I probably won't be able to join you guys for L4D that weekend because I have this family and they want to see me and stuff. Beats me! But I am 100% up for GTA on the following Tuesday!

Yeah, that would work. Maybe toblix can set up his server as a proxy for these things. Spotify (free version) is another application that doesn't work from Australia. But with the crappy Internet connection in this house, I can't even be bothered to dabble in streaming. How would you cope with having a monthly 2GB download limit on a 256kbps connection? It's so bad I have to do a soul searching every time I open a Youtube video. Do I really need to watch this clip?

As far as I've heard, Steam might prohibit giving games as gifts to users from other countries because people can use it to circumvent the pricing scam they've been running for a year or something now.

It JUST occurred to me that the reason I'm not able to see the price of L4D2 on Steam is that it's banned in this country.

I know from personal experience that when you transfer funds to foreign accounts, there are fees involved*, running up to 10 or even 20 dollars — on both ends. I kind of assumed that you avoid this fee if you use PayPal. *I know this because I am a foreign terrorist with an Arabic accent, driving around in slick black vehicles transferring "the funds" left and right.
