  1. Left 4 Thumbs 2

Ok, so since I can't play with you guys, I'll have to settle for these videos.
  2. Basketball

    I love this game!
  3. GTA XLIX Almost 50 baby!

I could go for some torticollas. But seriously, it can't be either of those because I'm still in control of my neck. It's just that I can't turn my head to the right and supposedly it will get better in a few days.
  4. GTA XLIX Almost 50 baby!

I won't be able to attend tonight. I woke up with the worst neck pain and my head has been tilted left all day. There's no way I can fit myself into a chair with this posture.
  5. My Computer Broke!

That guy will do anything to get out of playing that game.
  6. I happened to hear the song Axel F the other day, and for some reason it doesn't remind me of Beverly Hills Cop, but of The Lost Vikings. It also works the other way around, and when I think of Commandos 2 I think of that song "I'm Real" with J-Lo feat. Ja Rule just because I spent days playing that game with MTV in the background as a kid. WHATS MY MAH-FUCKIN NAME?! R-U-L-E
  7. Black Friday Deals

I'm sad that the Steam sale is over. I got the Monkey Island remake, some casual game for my sister and was hoping for cheap Torchlight.
  8. Songs that remind you of games, and vice versa

That is indeed cheating, and as a result you have to behold this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX4hRuazYPo
  9. That's exactly the podcast I started listening to after making that post
  10. Dawn of Discovery / Anno 1404

It's stupid/lame that games are advertised as having multiplayer when in reality you can only "track achievements, climb leaderboards and challenge others online"
  11. Dawn of Discovery / Anno 1404

I've been playing this a lot lately, and at it's core it's a brilliant city builder game for a number of reasons. It's main problem is that setting up trade routes is too simplified, and it's arguably the most important aspect of this game (no global resources except for gold, every island has its own stockpile). I could go into depth, but as an example, you can't order your ships to fill up 100% at docks, or skip destinations automatically when they are fully loaded (and have no cargo to pick up). That said, it's highly likely that you will find the overall game experience worthwhile, and maybe the trade route system won't bother you at all. I have an inkling that once I have made a sustainable empire with all buildings unlocked I will consider the game beat, so not much replayability. That said, it'll take you many hours to achieve it, so the $ per minute ratio is good. It's currently on sale at Direct2Drive for $25 which is a good/reasonable price.
  12. I'll take the time right now to thank you guys for giving me 60+ hours of free entertainment. Though, how can you quit JUST as I started playing Anno 1404 (Dawn of Discovery)? I really don't need to listen to waves splashing and birds chirping to enjoy this game. Peace.

Here are 10 bucks saying that the members of ZZ Top think video games are training programs for violent teenagers.
  14. Left 4 Thumbs 2

There are speculations about a DLC with The Midnight Riders as the protagonists. Would be cool

I just played this in Survival for a bit, and had a bizarre experience. As you may know, its relatively easy to get stuck in this game. Literally, as in your character can't move. The solution to this problem is to be pounced, smoked or skullfucked. So we had a jockey from the opposing team come in and ride me around for a bit before letting him run off into the wild, as if the little freak had been granted amnesty. It was simply a hilarious sight So remember this (until they release a patch anyway): as soon as a player gets stuck, let a special infected sort it out.

    That was an exaggeration, btw.

The grenade launcher can take out the tank in 10 seconds, and is as far as I know the only weapon that facilitates a solo takedown of the brute, practically speaking.

If you paid attention, you would see I'm no longer Admiral. I am a civilian from now on. I'm Mr. Grippage. Regarding L4D2, there's little doubt that it's now a completely different game with a lot more tactics involved. It's also a whole goddamn lot harder than L4D (with the same difficulty level anyway). I feel like it's still buggy (Especially the AI) but who plays with bots anyway?!* The most jarring thing is that the zombies now fullyprevent you from moving when they're attacking, while in L4D you could be surrounded by them and still move slowly. Not sure I like this. It feels less dynamic. Weapons are weird. Why are there 2 or 3 assault rifles and 2 sniper rifles on the same damn table? And what's the difference between the shotguns? I haven't played Versus mode yet, but I welcome the change from playing the useless Hunter all the time. I can't wait to steer people down burning cliffs while fornicating with their skulls. *I did. SUCKED
  19. Left 4 Thumbs 2

Ok I can't hold it anymore, I'm starting a game now.
  20. Left 4 Thumbs 2

Same here Skratch. I'll probably be playing video games all day, frankly. Patters, I added you on the Steam machine
  21. Left 4 Thumbs 2

So does anyone want to join a game between 6pm and 7pm GMT? Should be enough to be able to attend GTA as well.
  22. Left 4 Thumbs 2

What the...I wasnt planning on playing tonight, but I'll certainly try if it unlocks that soon. Not sure if I want to play through the campaigns with random people, though. Playing it in single player feels wrong too. Regarding mics, the logitech USB desktop microphone is brilliant http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/webcam_communications/microphones/devices/221&cl=us,en
  23. Grand Thumb Auto 38: FUCK NICK
