How about this Gish-like game for the Amiga where you controlled one or more blobs that could transform? I think you could go from water to steam which was cool, and you had all these traits that helped you negotiate the level

Commandos 2: Men of Courage (2001) Real-time WW2-tactix. You control a motley crew of specialists who travel around the world mostly to sabotage the Nazis. You should play it because it looks fuckin' gorgeous!, the gameplay is action-oriented yet relaxing, it's original, has a really immersive mood and uh

FFFFUUUUUUUU enow I have to play through it a third time! Thanks Quanta! This which links to this Maybe they scrapped it, that article is pretty old. But I think Hitman 5 is inevitable. This reminds me of the also-announced Commandos sequel by Pyro Studios. They've also been busy making that film, Planet 51.

At least I could drunkenly roam the streets in those two!

I played through Blood Money twice. It's ridiculous that you can't return to a saved game, but other than that it's a really good game. The sad thing is that the sniper rifle is pretty much useless. For instance, in the hillbilly swamp wedding (one of the coolest level ideas btw) you can shoot the bride/groom/whatever from the second floor. But instead of disarray, the guards know where you are instantaneously. Also, it's selling point is that you can execute people in dozens of ways. But in reality, there are very few that you can use and still maintain a level of immersion. Hitman 5 is coming up, but an announced 2010 release paired with absolutely no details makes it hard to believe it's gonna be worthwhile. It doesn't even have a wikipedia entry.

Wait, my attempt to install Win7 on the iMac was foiled, and I gave up entirely. So right now I'm just waiting for iSteam to be released and the Starcraft 2 mac client to emerge. So you get to keep it...for now
-
Oh you will, after you've sent it to me and bought another copy.

So...are you playing as the cameraman?

Only the first screencap was low-res and badly staged (either that, or the pipe weighs as much a cigarette) The rest looked pretty sharp to me, and the lighting looks good. How bad was godfather 2 though

Where are you situated, friend?

I have been blessed by the gods in that respect. In high school, exams were randomly assigned to a random number of students each year. I lucked out all three years and would get an early vacation. The undergraduate program I'm doing now doesn't have any exams except for a few electives. On the bright side I finish the semester 2 weeks earlier than 90% of the other students. However, the rest of the semester is swamped with coursework. But it's fun coursework, like 3D modelling/animation, photo compositing, etc. So yeah, exams are pretty sweet.

I'm ready to give my ¢2 on the Magic Mouse. It's very cool. I knew it was touch sensitive, but I had no idea that it was basically a multi-touch trackpad on wheels, so to speak. That means you can use gestures, even though it's virtually useless with that little space. Middle mouse click is hit-and-miss. Currently I have it mapped to "3 finger click" (hold 3 fingers on the mouse and press). Working in Maya, where I have to switch between all three buttons, it gets very tiresome. My verdict is this — it's not a good mouse. It's not ergonomic at all. I have to lift my index finger to right-click (reduces accuracy). It's way too sensitive and erroneously picks up scroll gestures way too often. On the plus side, it looks good. But who cares? No one, not even your guests, and they won't feel any different about you. I've only played one game with it — ToMI — and it was a horrible experience. Imagine what a FPS will be like...

Or maybe i was angry that the game wouldnt let me get drunk at tonys bar and head outside. walking up the stairs leading to the exit brought instantaneous sobriety.
-
Bought gay tony and played it for a few hours and never got the urge to pick it up again. Maybe it's because I left on a bad note, like after one of those really boring Virtua Cop missions. I feel like expansion packs should bring more than just a new story and guns, while gay tony just felt like more of the same.

So who's gonna buy me this game?

Can someone tell me how high my ping can be in a typical RTS before it's unplayable?
