This might be old news to some of you...I first discovered it in 2006 I think. http://www.desktopography.net/ It's rather good.

Really? blimey. I saw it on a 'normal' cinema screen, then about a week later saw it on Imax. They both rocked.

Found the power cord for my PsP any game recommednations?
Scrobbs replied to Ginger's topic in Video Gaming
My PSP is buggered, and I've got a load of games I haven't got round to flogging on ebay yet. Lumines, GTA: LCS, Tales of Eternia, Arcade Treasures (was free before you point and laugh), LocoRoco, Wipeout: Pure, Mercury, and Exit. If any take your fancy, let me know. -
Just to make you a little more excited, I went off to find the currently released details of exactly what skills as a zombie you get... http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/Left+4+Dead?t=anon This game is going to ROCK!

Just booked tickets for the sunday showing of Batman: TDK at the Bradford Imax. Can't wait - and I've just been informed that they even did some of the filming with an Imax camera. Rock on!

...and not just any zombie! You play as a zombie 'lord' effectively, with a special skill (I think there are 4 to choose from), while the normal zombies swarm around you. I'm not sure whether you actually command the swarm though.

http://www.hothardware.com/Articles/OCZ_NIA_BrainComputer_Interface/ They seem to be coming into stock end of july. I think it's one of the most exciting peripherals to arrive yet, can't wait to try it. I've got one on pre-order.

It's quite fun reading backwards!

Good luck toblix, hope it gets sorted. If that fails however, and they refuse, how about asking them nicely to re-instate the games that you purchased on your old account on your new account?

The official 'Welcome N0wak to London' thread
Scrobbs replied to ThunderPeel2001's topic in Idle Banter
There's every chance I will be in london again next monday eve, if anyone fancies a meet in the west end. -
I've ended up with a signed hardback copy of that.

Here's a recent interview with Moore, where he's asked about Watchmen. Predictably (and unsurprisingly considering recent adaptations) he's not too keen. http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20213004,00.html Still a good read though. Wonder if they will ever do a film version of Lost Girls...

Sorry for bumpage...but I was out last night for a friend's birthday, and he had a 1up hoody! Hundreds of little printed 1up mushrooms. Was pretty nice

...in that it's coming out this thursday, prolly midnight for us here. Anyhow, on a certain mailing list, this picture popped up... ..and the two maps are supposed to be cp_fastlane and ctf_turbine. No payload, Boo! http://www.steampowered.com/pyro/images/cp_fastlane.jpg http://www.steampowered.com/pyro/images/ctf_turbine.jpg (although other folks reckon it's fastlane and cp_redstone).

Anyone got into How I Met Your Mother? It's got that geezer in it as BArney, he rocks in that too. I watched a few episodes and am now addicted.

I've only got one at the moment, got a RadSail Pro III 4m. Been meaning to get a board for it for a while. Have you got one?

You mean neither of you never threw your controller down on hard level at the ferris wheel section of Call Of Duty 4? I actually had to leave the house for a good few hours and fly my kite aggressively it made me so angry.

Reading someone talking about GH2 being better - can you get it for the 360? Will my wireless guitar work on it?
-
Apologies! The date on the Wired article was 2nd July, so I had a quick look at the posts around that time and couldn't see it. Had no idea it was so old

100% on GH3's toughest! http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/07/guitar-hero-cha.html

Saw 'In Bruges' last night. High, high quality, with great performance from Colin Farrell, Ralph Feinnes and Brendon Gleeson. Bloody funny. Memorable moments include karate chopping the dwarf, and the 'meeting' between Harry and Ken. Watch it. Now.

'Tis a quality read. Maybe I should read it again.
