Turns out Google aren't letting you download copy protected apps if you own the dev version. Presumably because you have root. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/02/27/android_market_shuns_unlocked_google_phones/

I'm away this weekend, but will do something next week. I'm sure my meagre web site creation talents would lead to something suitably nasty and generally with an air of circa '97.

www.Itllblowyouaway-igndotcom.com - I was stuck as to what to do with that domain. Maybe it should just be a compilation of this thread.

Damn! Beaten to it. I was thinking along these lines last night, but thought I'd wait until this morning to post. "This game makes gang rape seem like a child's tea party" - IGN.com

Empire is out in 5 days, so I'd wait if that's the case.

It doesn't get much feta than this.

I'm glad that didn't get pasturise.

Wouldn't you rather rennet?

I had it described to me as: "Where Scifi actors go to die".

I have a wargear GfWL key available if anyone wants it?

Maybe if you know the game. I just button bash.

It's buried in one of the settings menu items. I played on my friend's copy, online mostly, and got annoyed with EVERYONE playing as Ken, and shoryuken'ing me to death CONSTANTLY.

Glad you got it figured out. A good temp for a CPU is 34-39 under no load (i.e. just windows desktop), depending on heat sink/fan arrangement and the CPU itself - a slower one will have to work harder just to run Vista, bumping the temp, if you follow. Now you have screen, a good browse through the bios of the motherboard might help with the DVD boot issue.

Ok, I've been umm-ing and ah-ing about buying a new console game for a bit, and have nearly done so on impulse many times, but then I sit back and think how much time I will actually play it, I get put off the 40 or so quid it will cost. Currently thinking along the lines of GRID, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Flower, Killzone 2, RE5 and SF IV. The latter 3 aren't out yet, but I'd be happy to wait. My 360 LIVE subscription has run out, and I'm not inclined to renew it at the moment. Recently (apart from EVE, which has been taking ALL of my gaming time) I've enjoyed Dead Space, WipEout HD. I got a bit bored of Tomb Raider after the first couple of levels. Any clues? Any further suggestions other than those I have mentioned?

Right you lot, I need a recommendation for a game.

Grid is great fun, as is NHL 09. I had to look the rules of Ice Hockey up, as I understood nothing of what the commentators were saying. The finer points are still eluding me, but at least I'm up to speed.
