I learned to drive a tractor and operate stuff off the back of it this week. Also: Looks like new contract is definitely a go.

So...the conclusion was that designing the interface so it IS better and easy to use is good and worthwhile, but the apparent beauty of it will have more of an effect? Did I read that right?

Well... Supposed to be hearing next week as to when I can start a contract. Been fucked around for a while, next week will be my 7th off. This time it's looking likely, so fingers crossed. Then I will buy an ipad in celebration

I think the Magic Mouse is ace. I find it really comfortable to use, but then I only have it set for the one button, and I use the Apple key to get a context-click. Up and down scrolling is awesome one it, and I like the left-right scrolling too. horses for courses I guess... would *never* use it for an FPS though. It's wireless.

Dude! 1 star takes no effort. Especially if you smash your way into the 'Grotti' Comet dealership (next to perseus clothing). In TBoGT, you get the whole city, it's another story arc... You remember the bank job with Packie (3 leaf clover)? At the start of the cut scene, there's 2 civilians who are plotting a daring move...that's where you start. As for your own music, press xbox button, right one menu, select the option underneath the music controls to browse external shared music (pc or connected hard drive) and you get all your own music. There's no way I would have played it so much otherwise, the radio got tedious on the first day.

Hm. I've never reallly noticed that aspect - jsut kind of assumed that he'd been damaged by the war, and was a bit of a gangster in the Old Country...he came to the US to make a fresh start, but his cousin was a bit shady himself. Just when he thought he was out...they pulled him back in.

Don't know if anyone is aware, but 'Treme' is starting tonight on HBO, from David Simon and Eric Overmeyer. Bunk Moreland and Lester Freamon are in it too! The series takes place three months after Hurricane Katrina where the residents of New Orleans, including musicians, chefs, Mardi Gras Indians, and ordinary New Orleanians try to rebuild their lives, their homes and their unique culture in the aftermath of the 2005 hurricane. Very cool. Sid Meier's Civilisation made flesh! Railroad Tycoon as well if I remember correctly - Jamestown was one of the first towns if you founded your railroad on the east coast area.
