Hmmm... The level design looks interesting, the transition from dark-world to light-world was nice, the dialogue was innane and I couldn't agree more about the Prince's voice. But does anyone know why the girl glows all bluish and it looks like the Prince grabs on to her to enable double-jumping?

What makes you think they're not?I know plenty of programmers like that. Hell, put a webcam in the IT room in my office and you'll get... hours and hours of nothing but fingers moving on keyboards. But you'll get a total of about two and a half minutes of gold every day! Oh, and after watching that video I actually went to the head of HR and suggested she buy an office goat to boost morale.

The second Discworld game had a song in the intro: EDIT: I remember being entranced as a kid by that video playing in the store. Looks like my sensibilities have changed a little.

Read through the whole thing last night, which took a good many hours. I'd definately recommend this for someone who wants a good laugh and who feels that their Sanity Quotient is a few points too high. Warning: By the end of it, I was beginning to gibber and cackle.

Did they just take screenshots from the other games to use as backgrounds, or actually rip out the 3d environments? EDIT: I laughed so hard at that ending sequence my liver was forcibly ejected from my torso and is even now jigging by itself in the middle of the room.

I got an email last week about getting the proper box of Sam & Max after preordering the entire season and was rather tempted by the merchandise. My question is: does anyone else have the merch and what do they think of it? In particular I'm looking at the sketchbook The Age of S&M.

Is this the one that's a remake of the original Tomb Raider game? In principle, that's a good thing as it's still my favourite of the series (and, admittedly, the only one I've actually finished). My one objection is the FMVs as seen on youtube - I don't know what it is about the Tomb Raider games but the animation is apalling. I've never seen characters move so unconvincingly in my life! I mean, Lara's poses have always been ridiculous but the way she moves here makes her look like an stop motion-controlled balloon animal - there's no weight in her movements. And don't even ask me about ...In this day and age, there's really no excuse for such shoddy animation. [/rant]
