Just finished Deathspank and, despite not having ever played an RPG before in my life, thoroughly loved it. Gonna hold off from buying Thongs of Virtue until the Steam sales though. It's not like I don't have a massive backlog of games to work on in the meantime. Has anyone else here got it on the PC-Steam? Does clicking on the Acheivements button in the menu do anything for you? What about on the Quests screen - did the up and down arrows ever stop working?

This isn't funny anymore.. stop monkeying around with Monkey Island!

Sadly, I only found out about it from the MI Wikipedia page. A quick Google has confirmed that it's true, but I haven't been able to find a clip.EDIT: Try this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fkRBzpiTSPI#t=315s -

Monkey Island was actually referencing Get Smart with that one, so he might have been quoting the original source. -

Is there a demo? I've gotta try before buying for this sort of game, to see how well it actually does in matching to the music. -

How appropriate, you milk previous classic adventure games for references like a cow. That is where you were going with that, right? -
That, and the dawn of a new epoch, where game designers spend their days attempting to fulfil their fantasies of being tv-show writers instead of film directors.

So... uhhh... the designers must have been watching the box set of LOST whilst putting together the plot of this one, right?

We have a release window. Finally.

The video in this post shows the process close-up. And it's only 2 minutes long, in case you don't want to watch the whole talk.

A Strange And Perplexing Error Haunting The Purchase Of Some Amount Of Video Games

Have you tried contacting support? I hear they offer assistance. -
I don't think GoG do the updating. They'd simply insist that Lucasarts get off their arse and fix the bugginess and pigs will fly before that happens. I mean, they rereleased The Dig and Loom years ago. Whatever happened to their plan to release all their adventure games on Steam?

I think you may just be screwed. Grim has always been broken for me - it would crash to desktop even back in the Windows 95 days.

What's the name of the plugin? I'd love to have something do this for me automatically on my other forum.

I agree. Not because the cards are rigged, but because most of the fun of poker for me is trying to outwit my friends and guess when they're bluffing me. You just can't get that sort of thrill when you're playing against an algorithm.

Looks cool. Definately more interest from me than Costume Quest. Tim has stated that CQ will get a PC port if it sells well enough. Presumably the same should hold true for Stacking too.

But Tim Schafer has said on record that he wants to do Psychonauts 2, as long as someone would pay for it. Does anyone have access to the magazine to post the full interview? -
It's so long since I signed up here that I can't remember whether new member registrations need moderator approval. If they do, the mods might want to check out http://stopforumspam.com , which is a searchable list of known spammers. We use it on the Oddworld Forums, which I'm an admin of - it's a bit inconvenient compared to just automatically confirming everyone, but it's dropped the number of spam posts to almost nil. And, yes, I do get the irony of me advertising another website in a post decrying SEO spammers. Thanks for pointing it out.

Jeez, the spambots really are getting good these days. -

From what I've read of interviews with Tim, that had more to do with running out of time and not having enough playtesting rather than poor design from the outset. But then I don't think that Meat Circus is that hard, so perhaps I'm not the best judge. -
Of course, now that Jake has deleted her sig, we just look wierd.

It sold out the entire first print for the NTSC market. I've tried to find the Doublefine Action News page where Tim mentioned that and how many it represents but their website's archive is kinda terrible these days. Memory hints that it may have been 500k but don't quote me on that. -
I bet you're looking forward to some S&M but what I really want to know is whether there's a website out there I could go to for information on international freight. Any advice there?
